“What are you pondering?”

“Gratitude requires action,” Marcus responded, unveiling the car key and
unlocking the vehicle, the sunlight enhancing his dignified presence.
“What else is on your mind?” Millie inquired, taking her seat within the car. A

Perched in a corner, Millie squirmed. Her legs felt like jelly, and her thoughts
