The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning by Max Charming Chapter 1287
After Mya and Fred kissed for some time, she felt her head spinning, and her mouth felt numb. She almost lost her balance due
to the lack of oxygen in her brain.
Fred said, “Don’t think I won’t dare to hurt you just because you’re young. If you ever dare to mention his name in front of me
again, I’ll make sure you regret it.”
Mya suddenly exclaimed, “I feel dirty!”
She pushed Fred away. Her vision was cloudy as she said, “In the future, don’t kiss me if you’ve kissed another woman.
“You’re filthy!” Mya vigorously wiped the saliva from her mouth and rushed upstairs.
Fred shouted, “Mya Harper! Stop!”
Mya ignored him. She quickly ran upstairs and locked herself in the room. She then barricaded the door to prevent anyone from
entering.
Just when Mya rinsed her mouth in the bathroom to get rid of Fred’s saliva, blood suddenly flowed from her nose. A buzzing
sound filled her head, accompanied by intense pain, causing her to suddenly faint.
After preparing dinner, the servant noticed that Mya still had not come down after a long time.
So, she said, “Mr. Turner, Ms. Harper’s room has been closed the whole time, and there was no sound coming from inside.”
“Don’t worry about her,” Fred replied.
The servant dared not say anything further.
After dinner, the servants cleared all the food on the table.
Ava nestled in Fred’s arms as she fed him cherries. “Is it delicious?”
He absent-mindedly withdrew his gaze. “Nowhere near as delicious as you.”
She replied, “You’re really good at comforting me.
“Are you not planning to go back? If you’re not going back, I’ll stay here with you forever.”
Fred looked at the antique clock as it struck nine. He thought, ‘Mya still hasn’t come down. Usually, she’d be very hungry by now
and come downstairs to eat. Today is the only time she has the backbone to tolerate hunger.’
Ava figured out what he was thinking, but she did not mind. She believed no matter how many partners he had, she was the
most special one.
She pondered, “These people are nothing more than Fred’s playthings.’ 2
Ava continued, “Let’s go back to the room and rest. I’m tired.”
Fred responded, “Okay.”
Upstairs, two servants were trying to open Mya’s room with a spare key. However, they still could not open it after several
attempts. They were worried that something might have happened to her.
Fred asked, “What are you two doing?”
The servant who was holding the key was so frightened that she almost dropped it. She responded in fear, “I’m sorry, Mr. Turner.
Ms. Harper rarely skips dinner. We’re afraid something might happen to her, so we wanted to go in and check on her.”
