Javier stared blankly at the box. He clenched his fists and hesitated to receive it.

There’s no need for you to see what she kept in that box, but personally, I think it’s time to hand the box to you, or you’ll never
discern your feelings and understand the gravity of your mistake.”
Javier finally accepted the box. His throat tightened. He was at a loss. for words.
After Javier left the office, Newton rubbed his forehead, looking
deflated and exhausted.
Ben began, “Mr. Beckett, I am confused.” After a pause, he gently asked, “Ms. Anne originally requested that you dispose of the
box. Why did you keep it over the years instead of throwing it out as she wished?”-
Newton replied, “I decided to hold onto it until the day Javier saw through Sophia’s true colors.”
