Chapter 32 Rebuild the Construction and Material Society 

Kaze said, "I support that. As long as you are happy, Mother."

"Kaze, my son-in-law, you know me best. You two are not as supportive as he is!"

Agnes was delighted to find someone on her side.

"Whatever, Mom. Brag all you want."

Darcy was happy that her mother finally accepted Kaze as her son-in- law.

They also talked about Darcy's intention to hire more people for the company.

Silver Wind Company suffered a huge turnover a while back and was in severe lack of manpower.

"From now on, Silver Wind is my career and everything. I will do my best to bring it back on track."

Darcy looked regretful when she said those words.

She had worked at Quintessential Group since she graduated and devoted almost everything to her work.

Moreover, it was her goal to regain the company's former glory and reinstate her father back to his righteous position.

Now that they had broken away from Master Quint and the extended company, she might not be able to remain at Quintessential Group.

Kaze knew what she was thinking. He put a piece of meat on her plate and said, "Darcy, don't worry too much. I'll help you get Quintessential Group."

"After the argument with Grandfather, I don't think he will let me go back."

Darcy also served a piece of meat on Kaze's plate.

Kaze smiled. "He will. Quintessential Group is having its own problem. I believe he is not that stupid and knows whether to choose between extending the lifespan of the company or saving his own face."

After dinner, Kaze took care of the dishes while Darcy and her parents went out for a walk to get to know the neighborhood.

They were busy moving earlier and did not get the chance to enjoy the scenery.

After Kaze was done with the dishes, he did some chores. Then, he received a text.

He walked out of the house and saw Snow Frost waiting for him.

"What is it?"

"Mr. Chairman, Roger Hilfinger went to meet Mr. Forrester this afternoon, asking him to stop protecting you."

Snow walked up to him and filled him in with the latest news with a bow.

Even until now, Roger Hilfinger thought Ray Forrester was Kaze's backer.

Kaze scoffed. "What did Ray say?"

"Mr. Forrester did not agree with him. Roger Hilfinger threatened him, saying that he would rebuild the Construction and Material Society. Until then, Perfect World Group will suffer the
consequences."

Snow glanced at him and continued, "He will then come after you."

"Come after me? Am I that weak to them?"

Kaze laughed. It seemed like he should make an example out of the Hilfinger family to warn the others who were against him.

Then, he saw Darcy and his in-laws coming back from their walk

He waved at Snow, gesturing for her to leave.

"Kaze, I saw a woman coming out of the house. Who was she?" Darcy asked when she came back.

She had seen Snow before this but she did not recognize her this time due to the dim environment.

"A friend. We had a chat," he simply said.

Kaze did not want to tell Darcy that Ray arranged for his secretary, Snow, to serve Kaze for the time being because he did not want her to misunderstand.

Even though there was nothing between him and the beautiful secretary.

"A friend?" Darcy looked suspicious but she did not probe for more.

Agnes then said, "Kaze, I'm warning you. Don't ever think of cheating on Darcy or else I will break your legs and throw you out!"

Kaze smiled bitterly. He did nothing wrong and he was happy.

Agnes warned him because she had acknowledged him as her son-in- law.

Back at the Quints' mansion, Master Quint was with Rudy and his family.

After being thrown out of Horizon Mirror, Master Quint started to develop a sense of disgust for the mansion he was residing in. The more he looked at it, the more disgusted he was.

It was his dream to move into Horizon Mirror.

He said fiercely, "Samus, have you contacted King Kong?"

Master Quint grunted heavily. He wanted to settle this as soon as possible.

Samus said, "Grandfather, I have been trying to contact King Kong for the past two days but no one answered. I'll call him again later."

Master Quint slammed on the table. "Samus, contact him as soon as possible. No matter how much I have to pay, I want him to settle this quickly."

Samus nodded repeatedly.
