Harvey York’s Rise to Power

Chapter 5768

Chapter 5768
Harvey smiled. “Should I be thanking you, then?”
“No need. I’m just saying…” Sierra frowned. “It’s a little awkward to steer the conversation this way, isn’t it?”
Harvey was beginning to figure out Sierra’s personality. “Maybe you should just tell me why you’re here instead.”
Sierra looked at him with a profound gaze.
“You see, my grandfather wants to see you no matter what. The others have been desperately trying to figure out a way to make that happen… I came here just to ask you for that.”
“Your grandfather? The head of the Wolven Tribe, Preston Klein?
Why does he want to see me? Is he planning to cause me trouble?”
Harvey had destroyed the Eve Clubhouse, recruited Romina, and dealt with
Asher. After all that, it was only natural for someone like Preston to come at him.
“Probably not.”
Sierra tilted her head to the side.
“If that were the case, I wouldn’t be the one here. It’d be all one hundred and eight fighters of the Klein family instead.
“I was hoping you’d entertain my request, for Kairi’s sake…but I don’t like forcing people. It’s fine if you don’t want to.”
Naturally, Sierra knew Harvey had a huge conflict with the family recently. The Klein family was only repaying the Great Wall’s favor, but they were still going against Harvey for it.
There was simply no point in looking at it another way.
Despite mentioning Kairi’s name, Sierra was leaving everything up to chance. “The Klein family is the outskirts’ wealthiest family,” Harvey said, after standing up.
“Your grandfather’s a legendary being in the outskirts as well.
Since he wants to see me, then so be it. As for the outcome of that, it’ll depend on your family’s attitude.”
Sierra froze; she didn’t think Harvey would be so fearless even when it involved a prominent figure like her grandfather.
“Very well. My grandfather will be waiting for you at the banquet,”
Sierra said, nodding.
Harvey chuckled. “This feels a lot like an assassination attempt…”
Six o’clock in the evening, at Brook Tower.
This was one of the most bustling places in the outskirts; the spacious
environment was decorated with all sorts of antiques.
Ordinary people wouldn’t fit in such a place.
However, with Sierra’s lead, Harvey didn’t feel too much when entering.
The two arrived at the top floor soon after. Pavilions, bridges, and flowing rivers
were everywhere.
An elegant-looking gazebo could be seen at the back. In the middle, a small table was placed. There, a strong elderly man was casually sipping his tea.
Many expert martial artists were standing on the side of the gazebo. Their eyes instantly brightened as soon as they saw Harvey’s arrival.
Soon, they quickly lowered their heads in silence.
Harvey casually sat in front of the elderly man, ignoring the people around him.
