News of Severin’s arrival spread like wildfire in the sect during Severin’s two months of seclusion. Some claimed that his
victories over Thorold and Jangar were mere luck, and they cast doubts over his strength. Others speculated that Severin must
have been Oskar’s illegitimate son and that Severin gained entry into the sect through the backdoor.
Doubts and dissatisfaction among elite disciples grew, with several level five and level six supreme saints sending challenge
letters to Pearl Light Isle. They aimed to wrest the core disciple position from Severin.
The challengers were no ordinary people. They ranked among the top ten elite disciples in the sect’s rankings. During Wuhlricht
and Felipe’s occasional excursions outside of Pearl Light Isle to, the hostility shown to them by many elite disciples prompted
them to return hastily. Many even demanded them to send word of their desire to challenge him, and the people around Pearl
Light Isle were monitoring the situation continuously.
Upon learning of what happened, Severin narrowed his eyes fiercely. “They’re free to challenge me if they want!” he sneered.
Severin finally realized why Wuhlricht and the gang had been so idle in the past two months. It was because of all the animosity
that was directed toward them from those outside of Pearl Light Isle.
He then smiled coldly and said to Wuhlricht and the Great Elder, “Don’t worry. Those who want to stir
trouble here on Pearl Light Isle will have to go through me!”
With a wave of his hand, Severin activated Pearl Light Isle’s formation and summoned his token. In the
next moment, he rose into the air above and flew toward the Sixth Mountain. As he left, those who had
been keeping a close watch on his movements relayed the news to the other disciples.
Atop the Eighth Mountain, the burly–figured Shyam unleashed his level five spiritual energy upon learning
that Severin had emerged. He yelled out Severin’s name and soared into the air to make his way to Pearl
Light Isle. His black pupils brimmed with fighting spirit as he said, “I’ve waited more than two months for
you to show yourself!”

Severin flew so quickly that he broke the sound barrier, but he was forced to halt just before reaching the
Sixth Mountain.
“Who’s there?” he bellowed as he sensed a hostile gaze fixated on him. marking Shy
A rainbow–colored light descended as soon as he shouted, marking Shyam’s arrival. Severin’s handsome. face and level four
supreme saint spiritual energy prompted Shyam to ask coldly, “Severini”
Severin’s expression sank as he looked at Shyam’s animosity. His face turned cold and he asked, “Who are you?”
Shyam responded calmly. “I’m Shyam Suddie, and I am here to challenge you for your position!”
