*Haha, you’re just like your father!” Oskar said, shaking his head. He then laughed. “This is one of the innate Five Element Flags,
and it was also one that I came across by sheer luck from a secret realm somewhere. You’ll be nearly invincible if you get a flag
like this.”
Severin and the others pursed their lips and nodded with a smile. This Hardwood Supreme Green Flag is just one of the Five
Elemental Flags, and it was considered a superior–quality spiritual treasure. Having the complete set for all five of them would
make their power even greater!
For the record, even the sect leaders of Southsky’s four great sects did not have such treasures. It was clear then that the flag
was among the most powerful treasures ever available!
When Selene learned that there was only one flag, Oskar stood up and said, “Now that my apprentice has accepted the
treasure, I will allow her to stay in Pearl Light Isle for the time being. I’m sure you’ll have no difficulties passing down the
teachings in the Grandiuno Sacred Notes, and I’m confident you’re able to
provide a steady supply of pills for her too.”
According to the rules that dictated the procedure for how a sect leader should accept an apprentice, it would only be considered
valid if the sect elders and peak masters were summoned to bear witness to the acceptance. However, Oskar chose to simplify
the process to avoid revealing Selene’s Celestial Bone Foundation.
Before he left, Oskar handed a token to Selene and said, “If there are any questions you wish to ask, you may bring this token
and meet me at the first mountain.”
Oskar then rose into the sky and disappeared from sight.
Diane finally realized the significance of everything and said emotionally, I’m not dreaming, am I? I’m still amazed that Selene
was accepted as the sect leader’s disciple!”
Everything that happened that day’seemed like a dream to Diane. It began first with Selene’s

breakthrough, then the Thunderbolt Tribulation that caused a sensation throughout the Grandiuno Sect and attracted Oskar’s
attention. Finally, it culminated with the revelation that Selene had gained the Celestial Bone Foundation, which drove Oskar to
accept her as his apprentice. Anyone in Selene’s shoes. would be over the moon, and her mother–Diane–felt like she was
dreaming.
Severin looked at Diane and said, “It’s true. You’re not dreaming!”
He then turned to Selene and advised her, “You need to train well and make your master proud.”
“I promise I will.” Selene nodded.
Severin grinned. “Well, since you’ve just made the breakthrough to warrior emperor, it’s a good time for you to consolidate your
attainment first.”
Severin was very happy that Selene had made a breakthrough to supreme saint, awakened the Celestial
Bone Foundation, and was accepted as Oskar’s apprentice. After telling his daughter what to do next, Severin glanced at the
nearby Emery.
Emery knew exactly why he was looking at her, and she trembled slightly as she said, ‘I promise not to breathe a word of what
happened today to anyone.
Since Emery had taken the initiative to assure them of that, Severin replied, “I trust in you. You may continue with your duties.”
Emery breathed a sigh of relief after realizing that Severin had no intention of killing anyone or silencing her.
