Chapter 267
Well, this entire game was being led by Mackenzie, the most serious of them
all.
Meanwhile, the Lowe residence was bursting with life.
At that moment, Roselynn’s bridesmaids had arrived.
Besides that, Benny’s entire family was there as well.
Soon, Ryder and Tommy arrived.
Abellyn was also there, even though she kept a look of scorn on her face the
entire time.
After arrival, she immediately sat on the couch and scrolled on her phone.
She did not help with anything.
Alessandra and her family knew Ryder’s relationship with Abellyn was very
tense at the moment, so they all ignored her.
Jack, however, could not do so. He could not resist going over and grumbling
at her, “Abellyn, don’t you think you’re acting like an outsider? It’s Roselynn’s
big day. There are over a dozen tables outside. Everyone is swamped with
work. Can’t you help out?”
Jack’s young wife chimed in as well. “He’s right. Everyone feels even more
exhausted just by seeing you sit there and do nothing. You should have just
stayed home if that’s all you’re doing!”
Abellyn immediately threw her phone to the side.
Jack and his wife thought she was going to help out, but she instead stood
up with her hands on her hips. “Do not speak as though I am one of you. Soon,
I will no longer be like you!”
The couple was shocked.
Jack even laughed upon hearing that.
Did she think he did not know what Ryder’s finances were like?
Out of the three brothers in the Lowe family, Jack’s side of the family was the
wealthiest. Still, they were helping out since today was Roselynn’s wedding.
What gave Abellyn the audacity to boast?
“Tell me then. Just how will you be different?” he asked.
“Yeah! What do you have as proof? What makes you think you can throw your
weight around?” his wife asked.
The two of them were insistent on getting a proper answer.
Their disagreement caught the attention of the other members of the family,
and they all came closer to listen in.
“Hmph! You’ll know soon enough! Either way, I’ll soon be someone far beyond
your reach!”
As Abellyn was quite uneducated, she was so blunt that she could never hide
-her thoughts.
For the past few nights, she had been living with Zane.
Zane’s mansion was much bigger than Jack’s home and in a district. In fact, it
was much better than Yociam Residence.
Zane said that he would marry her soon. Hence, she was now ready to show
her cards to Ryder.
“Who’s that, Roselynn?”
Claudette, who was in Roselynn’s room with her, was also watching the
disagreement.
Usually, she felt she was above poking her nose in arguments that did not
involve her. However, this was Emmanuel’s family. As such, she wanted to
know everything that happened in the Lowe family.

“She’s the wife of my cousin, Ryder. She must be showing off because she’s
likely cheating on him with another man and is ready for a divorce,” Roselynn
replied.
She did not try to hide Abellyn’s shameful actions from Claudette. She had
long since known the marriage would end in tragedy. With more people
knowing about what Abellyn had done, Abellyn would be unable to steal too
much of Ryder’s money from him.
“Oh, I see!”
Claudette had not planned to know more.
Suddenly, Roselynn said, “Oh, yes. You should also know who the man she’s
involved with is. He’s one of the managers in Lenoir Group. He’s actually quite
close to your brother.”
“Zane Xanders?”
Claudette was instantly able to name the man.
“Yes, that’s him! Abellyn’s affair with him is likely coming to fruition, so she’s
showing off.”
Roselynn did not know Zane that well. She only knew he existed.
He was doing quite well for himself in the company as he had become quite
close to Quintus. According to her memory, his annual salary was in the
millions. As for other income sources, she knew nothing of those.
Claudette could not resist laughing though. After all, Abellyn thought she
could strut around like a peacock just because she had gotten the affections
of a Lenoir Group’s department manager.
Did she not know that the Lowe family included individuals so very rich and
powerful that not even Zane could properly look at them?
