Chapter 398
Reed took a puff of his cigarette before sneering at Hermann and Emerson
while saying, “You two clueless fools, don’t you realize you’re in big trouble this
time?”
In big trouble? Hermann and Emerson immediately gasped.
The other patrol officers became even more curious, and their interest was
piqued!
“That woman with the ample bosom has an extremely powerful background!
Even my immediate superior would have.to show utmost respect to her if
they met! She is the leader of the Yeringham Wolf Warrior Society!”
“What? The leader of the Wolf Warrior Society?!”
Hermann and Emerson trembled as soon as they heard it.
Who in Yeringham was unaware of the Wolf Warrior Society? Their influence
was immense, and no one dared to provoke them. People had always
wondered why this behemoth existed, but it turned out their backing was so
strong!
Hermann couldn’t help but exclaim, “Oh my! We really are foolish! We saw
that woman driving a combat vehicle and being so arrogant in Yeringham. It
definitely means she has the power to do so!”
Emerson also thought his father was foolish. If he wasn’t a fool, could he bring
Emerson to do such a stupid thing?
“Captain, what other identities is that woman hiding?”
The patrol officers were skilled at analyzing situations. After they heard Reed’s
words, they became even more curious about Eve’s true identity. If her public
identity was already so impressive, what other hidden identities did she
possess?
“You guys are aware of Captain Tim Kole of the Southern Province Flying
Tigers, right?” Reed took another puff of his cigarette before asking his
subordinates.
“Of course. Who in the Southern Province Patrol Bureau doesn’t know about
Mr. Kole?”
“That’s right. He’s my idol. I heard that after retiring from a certain unit, he
joined the Flying Tigers and excelled. He achieved numerous
accomplishments within three years and rose to the position of captain!”
“Yeah. He’s a legend in the Flying Tigers. Everyone talks about his miraculous
feats!”
When the name Tim was mentioned, the patrol officers became excited and
eager to share their thoughts.
“Haha. It’s good to know! He’s indeed formidable, but calling him a miracle
worker is a bit too much!”
Reed raised his prideful arc and said, “Actually, I used to be on the same
team as him. We even participated in the selection for the Northern Region
Wolf Warrior Unit together. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it past the first
round! My skills were lacking.”
“What? You were eliminated in the first round?” Reed’s subordinates
exclaimed in surprise. They knew just how outstanding Reed’s abilities were,
so hearing this genuinely shocked them.
“Captain Reed, what kind of selection process was it that even someone like
you couldn’t pass the first round?”
“Yeah. Your physical fitness is recognized as number one in our patrol team. If
even you were eliminated in the first round, what about the rest of us then...”
The patrol officers hesitated to continue their questions.
“Sigh...”
Reed sighed helplessly while recalling the past events and said earnestly, “I
was eliminated in the first round, and although it was a huge blow to me, I
accepted it deep down because, in my eyes, those who could pass the first
round of selection back then were truly monsters in that field. I still had a long
way to go in terms of my abilities.”
The subordinates were all in disbelief and each of them was shocked. Soon,
they couldn’t wait to ask more questions.
“What kind of special force is the Wolf Warrior Unit? Why can they recruit so
many strong individuals?”
“Yeah. They only select monsters to join them. What kind of team are they
trying to build?”
Reed smiled, extinguished his cigarette butt, and slowly said, “That’s classified
information. I can’t just go around revealing it!”
