Chapter 1172
"Annie Crawford? The Annie Crawford who won the World Fashion Awards?" The crowd began to burst into sound.
"I heard it's impossible to get her work now. She's literally in every fashion show and the top fashion designer in the country!"
"Stella's dress must be the real deal if Annie Crawford said so. She and Lea Sartorre are very well acquainted with each other.
There's no way she'd be wrong about Sartorre's work."
"I can't believe Xianna actually hinted that Annie Crawford knew nothing about the fashion industry when she's the top player in
the game."
"Did you guys hear what Annie Crawford just said? She said that Lea Sartorre gave that dress to someone as a gift. That means
Stella was the one she gifted it to!"
"Oh, my God. That dress is priceless."
"I knew Stella wouldn't wear a knockoff to an event like this. She would never make a joke out of herself no matter how bad the
situation she is in."
"So, that's why Stella said that Sophia was someone who didn't know much. She didn't even recognize the real thing when it was
right in front of her."
Annie Crawford expressed her gratitude to Stella once again after she was done taking photos of the dress. "When Lea was
designing this piece, she told me that she drew inspiration from a woman she met on the plane. The woman was on her way to a
convention while wearing an eyecatching dress. Lea was amazed when she saw her outfit and was inspired to come up with this
design as soon as she landed. She told me that she would like to give her work to the woman if she ever saw her again. Correct
me if I'm wrong, but I think you're the woman Lea met on the plane, right, Ms. Jewell?"
The crowd was shocked.
Everyone who saw the video taken at the National Embroidery Exhibition regarding The Flying Phoenix knew the story behind it.
Lea once told the audience that she met a woman on a plane who jumped into action when one of the passengers fainted due to
a cardiac arrest. The woman in the dress quickly held out her arm to prevent the person's head from hitting the dining cart
nearby. A few other young people then did some first aid and brought that person back to life.
Lea continued and told her audience how there was so much negative news about young people nowadays, but they were the
ones who took action first. She expressed that the older generation should not hold young people by outdated standards since
times were changing. She then described the younger generation as being highly motivated and possessing an uplifting force,
just like a flying phoenix.
Lea repeatedly mentioned the woman in the costume in her story. She stated that her attire made her look like a majestic
phoenix, and her prompt action rendered the idea of the bird taking flight.
Everyone was trying to find out who Lea Sartorre's muse was after hearing her story. Little did they know that it was Stella.
"Lea is a kind and gentle person, and she's not stingy with compliments to young people either," said Annie.
Stella smiled at her commentary as she thought, 'Why is Annie Crawford here?' She stole a glance at Keegan and saw him
looking at her while holding a glass of wine. When their eyes met, Keegan slightly raised his eyebrows as though he was trying
to say, "Praise me, please."
Stella did not react. Instead, she thought, 'Huh. He became more thoughtful after the divorce.' She did not know how big of a part
Keegan played in Annie's speech, but the dress she wore was indeed a gift from Lea Sartorre.
Stella was watching the National Embroidery Show at home with Keegan when she saw Lea's work on display. She could not
help but brag by asking, "Do you know who that phenomenal woman Lea Sartorre is talking about?"
