Chapter 1182
Spencer frowned when he heard Stella ask him who he was. ’Don't you remember me?’ He asked in disbelief.
Vermont, Felicity, and Keegan were struck hard by those words.
After some time, Vermont was no longer shocked. Instead, he was waiting for everything to unfold. 'So Stella knows this man
who has similar features as Keegan? Interesting...'
He then looked at Keegan, who had slightly pursed lips and an indifferent expression, calmly staring at Stella. She felt so guilty
for pretending not to know Spencer and did not dare to meet Keegan's gaze.
Still, she was as steady as a rock. ' You do look familiar, but I'm afraid I don't remember. Care to refresh my memory?"
Spencer was silent. He looked at the woman before him and realized she had actually changed quite a bit since high school.
Her facial features were much more refined. 'She looks completely different from the girl who danced on stage during our
school's talent competition.' The only thing that remained unchanged was her unforgettably bright, beautiful eyes.
Though, Spencer knew what kind of mischievous person hid behind those seemingly harmless eyes. He recalled the time Stella
told him that she wanted to perform a magic trick and pull out a cute little animal. But to his surprise, she pulled out a rat instead.
Spencer stared at Stella for a few seconds and smiled. He looked up and said, "It's fine if you don't remember. Let me introduce
myself.” He held out his hand and continued, "Hi. I'm Spencer Graham, class of 2015 from Rivera High."
Before Stella could say anything, Felicity chimed in, "Rivera High? Stella, isn't that where you went? And didn't we graduate in
2015 too?"
At that moment, Stella wanted to sew her best friend’s mouth shut. 'Can't you see how upset Keegan is already? God!'
"Oh, so you're an alumnus. It's nice to meet you," said Stella as she shook the tips of Spencer's fingers and let go immediately. "I
didn't know we had such a prestige member in the Rivera High alumni," she continued.
Spencer touched his fingertips and put on a faint smile. His assistant then whispered something in his ear, and he nodded. "I'll go
say hello to Mr.
Jewell and catch you later."
"Oh. Um. That's fine. You don't have to come back. You can just go about your business," Stella said, unclear whether Spencer
heard her. The man then turned around and walked into the crowd with his assistant.
Stella felt relieved as she watched Spencer leave. She saw Keegan staring at her with no apparent expression and began to feel
anxious.
Vermont quickly tried to gossip and asked, "Stella, is Spencer one of your high school classmates?"
"Yeah. I think so," Stella replied.
"What do you mean you think so? Do you not remember him at all? I mean, it's impossible to forget a face like that."
Stella could feel Keegan's stare becoming more intense as Vermont said that.
"I didn't have the time to look at men when I was in school, Vermont. I had so much homework to do back then!"
