Chapter 1202
Albert was unable to care for both women simultaneously. Fortunately, the ambulance had arrived just in time to rush Hylda and
Xenia to the hospital.
Since Stella's plan was only halfway near completion, she quickly devised a reason to tag along. She glanced at Albert and saw
him stepping forward to say, "Let's head to Rotona Pinnacle Hospital. They have better medical facilities there. I'll have someone
to get things prepared." He then turned to Stella and said, "Stella, some of Rainee's belongings are still at the hospital. I've
already asked the staff to keep them somewhere safe. Would you like to come along and pick them up?"
Stella's expression turned cold as she replied, "Why didn't you just have someone deliver them to me before this?"
Albert lowered his gaze and said, "Well, I missed you and wanted to use this as an opportunity to see you."
Everyone found Albert's response to be cheesy.
The group then made their way to Rotona Pinnacle Hospital. Aldor drove Stella, Keegan, Vermont, and Felicity to the hospital
while the Jewell family traveled in another vehicle.
"Did anyone notice that when the homewrecker, Hylda, was being put into the ambulance, her younger brother seemed
extremely concerned? It's like he's the father of her child," Felicity whispered as they were on their way.
The others remained silent, leaving Felicity puzzled. "What? Am I wrong?"
Vermont patted Felicity's head and explained, "Don't you recognize him? Remember when you were in my car, and you saw
Hylda being intimate with a man during her hospital visit? Yeah, they're the same person."
"But, the man I saw was her young lover, no? I'm talking about her younger brother, guys-" Felicity paused and said, "Wait! Her
brother is her lover?! She's got some nerve to do all this right under Albert's nose. No wonder she looked so anxious when the
other Ian appeared. Poor Albert."
Everyone was at a loss for words at Felicity's late revelation.
"So, were there actually surveillance cameras at the gazebo?" Keegan asked Stella.
"Not initially. But, Mrs. Chapman had one installed last night," Stella replied in a hushed tone. She had asked Olivia to keep an
eye on the gazebo, so Olivia did her a favor by installing a CCTV.
When Olivia was renovating the place, the construction workers found that the terrain near the gazebo was low, which caused it
to be built high up. She wanted to demolish the whole thing but was lazy and eager to rent out the place. So, she decided to put
it off. At the same time, not many people were using the facility. Forthat reason, she neglected to install surveillance in the area.
Olivia checked the area when she was asked to but found nothing suspicious. Despite that, Stella could not shake off the uneasy
feeling she had. She was certain that Hylda had deliberately chosen the gazebo to commit her crime. Unable to find any
evidence, she thought it would be best to install a camera and see what Hylda was up to.
As fate would have it, the camera proved invaluable that night. Stella could not believe her luck.
Hylda had chosen Dragon Lagoon, not just for its grand setting but also because it was the perfect location for what she wanted
to do. What she did not expect was that Olivia was Stella's ally. Hylda was doomed the minute she rented Dragon Lagoon as her
wedding venue.
After some time, Stella's thoughts shifted to Xenia, and she frowned.
"What's wrong?" Keegan asked.
"Something doesn't seem right with Xenia. I thought she was faking it when she was clutching her stomach earlier. But, I'm
starting to have doubts
after seeing how pale she looked when she was taken away. Somehow, it doesn't seem like an act."
