'Ugh! That Stinky Cucumber!' thought Felicity. She wrung the towel dry and stormed back to the bedroom with a tense face.
Upon reaching the master bedroom, Felicity noticed that the door was closed. When she tried to open it, she discovered that it
was locked from the inside. She knocked on the door, and a woman's voice emerged from within. "You should get some rest.
Don't worry. There's a bathroom here. I'll take care of him."
Felicity was at a loss for words. She threw the towel into the bathroom sink and went back to her room, slamming the bedroom
door behind her. She then grabbed her phone and realized that Stella had sent her several messages.

Frustrated with Vermont, Felicity typed out the responses to Stella's texts angrily.
While Stella was eagerly waiting for her best friend's reply, her curiosity was growing more and more intense. When Keegan
noticed her repeatedly glancing at her phone and sighing, he eventually asked, "What's bothering you?"
Stella was eager to share the gossip with someone, and Keegan's question almost prompted her to spill the beans. But, when
she opened her mouth, she hesitated and decided not to tell him about it. Even though she knew he would not spread the news
around, the topic was simply too awkward to talk about, given his close friendship with Vermont.
Hence, she cleared her throat and said, "It's nothing. I just told Felicity about something I saw online, but she hasn't replied yet. A
woman had publicly accused her husband of having an affair."
Keegan had no interest in such gossip and returned to checking his emails.
Stella then got up, sat behind Keegan, and massaged his shoulders. "You must be tired, huh? I've noticed that you've been
staying up late."

Stella had gotten up to use the bathroom at night for the past few days and saw that Keegan was still working every time. Once,
she had even found him in the living room with the lights on at 3 a.m. She had a vague sense that there was something big going
on in Vinci Rivera, which explained Keegan's busy schedule. However, she did not want to pry into his work. She refrained from
disturbing him even when she saw him working late at night. She feared that it might disrupt his flow.
"Yeah. I've halted several projects that were under my uncle's supervision and received some complaints from his team. They've
been getting riled up recently, so I need to pacify them."
Even though Keegan explained the situation in a casual manner, the issue was far more severe. Not only were the people in
Vinci Rivera expressing their discontent, but they were also joining forces with top executives in the company and threatening to
resign. They were hoping that this would impeach Keegan.
However, Keegan was not willing to surrender. He did not care whether they wanted to leave the company. To him, those
positions could be easily filled. He had already begun recruiting new talents. It was clear that he was unbothered by their actions.
Keegan knew that the shareholders were merely looking out for their interests. They were threatening to resign as a form of
pressure and did not genuinely intend to leave. Even if their profits had decreased due to their projects being stopped, it was still
more than what other companies would be able to give them. As long as Keegan maintained control of his team, he was not
worried about their threats.
Nevertheless, Keegan's unwillingness to compromise still angered the shareholders.
