Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted by Eleven Jewell

Chapter 1393
"I've prescribed a few dietary supplements for you to try out. Come see me again if you don't find any improvement in your
condition. I'll tailor the treatment accordingly," Luke said to Keegan.
He then considered Stella's concerns and added, "This condition isn't a big deal. Many people experience it, especially with the
high levels of stress nowadays. There's no need to be ashamed. Seek help early, and you'll be holding your little one in your
arms soon."
Keegan's expression became ugly. He gritted his teeth and said, "Thank you for the advice, doctor."
Aldor clutched onto the steering wheel as his eyes looked straight ahead. Keegan's appearance was too scary at the moment.
’Mr. Kane is in good health. That means that the prescription Mrs. Kane got was not for him. Why would she request such
medication on his behalf?' thought Aldor, stealing a glance at his boss before quickly averting his gaze. 'He looks furious. I hope
nothing serious happens to Mrs. Kane.'
Meanwhile, Stella was entirely oblivious to what had occurred. Today marked her first fight scene with Nicole, which she had
previously filmed with Bella. The scene had the most dialogue in the entire show, and the tension was intense. However, Stella
was not entirely satisfied with the previous take. Bella's acting skills were limited, making it
difficult for her to fully engage in the scene. Moreover, Bella kept forgetting her lines. In the end, the editing team had to cut a
significant portion of the scene, resulting in a passable but far from impressive result.
Now, with Nicole as her scene partner, Stuart reintroduced the original lines and asked the entire set for their full cooperation
during filming.
Stella actually looked forward to acting with Nicole. She was not afraid of having an opponent. She believed that having a good
scene partner could significantly elevate her acting skills.
As it turned out, things went just as Stella had anticipated.
It was a retake of the same scene with the same makeup and wardrobe. However, when Nicole stepped out on set, the
atmosphere was completely different from when Bella was there. Bella portrayed Lexi as somewhat timid, even though she was
the one with the upper hand. The lines she delivered always carried a hint of hesitance, which was why Stuart always frowned
when he directed the takes. He thought that a hesitant female lead was hardly relatable to the audience.

Nicole, on the other hand, exuded a different aura. She had come from an impoverished county. When she came to the city, she
could not help but feel inferior when she faced her wealthier peers.
However, her insecurity stemmed solely from the difference in their living conditions. Nicole shined like a star the moment she
stood on stage. With a subtly raised chin, she
exuded confidence and determination. Her refusal to give in and her relentless effort to climb up the industry could be seen in the
characters she portrayed.
Greatness is not innate but achieved through hard work.
This was the first time Stella felt pressure from an opponent in acting. Nicole was truly an impressive actor. She was in character
in every movement she made. If Stella had not had several years of voice acting experience and had encountered numerous
outstanding scene partners, she might have struggled to keep up with Nicole's performance.
The eight-minute-long scene was done in one take.
Stuart was elated with the shot and thought, 'This is precisely what I have been looking for!'
Stella stood in place, slowly grabbing the water Shea had handed her. Her heart was still pounding rapidly, and she felt nervous
in front of the camera for the first time.
"Relax. Nicole has had seven years of acting experience. She's been at it for a long time. It's understandable if you messed
something up," Shea said. She noticed how nervous Stella was during the take, but it did not affect her overall performance of
the scene.
Stella took a sip of water, and her rapid heartbeat slowed down gradually. "She's amazing. She literally transitions in and out of
character easily," she said.
"Yeah. She is incredibly talented and willing to put in the effort. People like her are born for this profession," Shea replied. "But
you're not bad, either. This is technically your
second role. You'll encounter many co-stars like Nicole in the future, and they'll help you improve your skills. Don't be afraid of
messing up.”
Stella smiled upon hearing that. "I'm not afraid," she said.
