Chapter 1417
The group of wealthy wives were gossiping in their group chat:
[Isn’t Jaylene the Saun family’s daughter? When did they discover they had another daughter?]
[Someone is a bit behind on the news. Jaylene is actually the child of Darcie and her ex-husband. It’s true that she
grew up in the Saun family, but she's not Wenham's biological kid.]
[Wait. Wenham had a daughter with another woman while he was with Darcie?]
[No. He's not Albert, you know. Wenham's ex-wife gave birth to the girl. She's a full-blooded Saun. She shares the same mother
as Trevor.]
[So she's Freesia's child?]
[Yep.]
[But I heard Freesia had a difficult childbirth and didn't make it.]
[I heard that, too. They said the child didn't survive. Did the Saun family make a mistake?]
[I don't think so. They've already arranged a banquet to announce the return of their long-lost daughter. I doubt a prestigious
family would make a mistake on something like this.]
[I've heard some rumors that she's the child Freesia gave birth to during the difficult childbirth. It seems like there was a mix-up.
The Halls thought that child didn't make it, but she's actually alive and well.]
[What a stroke of luck to be able to find her after all these years.]
[Though, won't things get a little awkward for Darcie and her daughter with the real heiress back?)
[Why would things be awkward? It's not like it's the ex-wife who's back.]
[But won't Jaylene's position as the heiress waver? Tons of young men in Rivera are pursuing her for her status.)
[She's still Wenham's daughter, though. So, who knows what will happen.]
Dahlia read the messages in the group chat and frowned.' The true heiress of the Saun family? When did this happen? Why
haven't I heard a word about it?' She pursed her lips and called Olivia.
Olivia was busy arranging the venue when she received the call. Seeing that it was Dahlia, she casually tossed her phone aside.
It was not until she finished her tasks that she called her back.
Dahlia was a bit annoyed that her call had been ignored." What are you up to? Why did it take you so long to get back to me?"
She spoke in a low voice.
Olivia did not like the way Dahlia questioned her. 'Who does
she think she is?'
"I know you have a filial son whom you do not need to worry about, Dahlia. But I have my daughter's wedding to plan."
Dahlia's mouth twitched when she heard that. Her son had already turned his back on her and kicked her out of the house. She
did not consider him as filial. However, she ignored Olivia's remark and whispered, "Have you seen the group messages? The
Saun family is hosting a banquet to announce the return of their long-lost daughter."
"Yes, I've seen them," Olivia nodded.
Not only had she seen them, but she was also currently decorating the venue where the Sauns would hold the celebration. Apart
from Dragon Lagoon, Olivia also owned a slightly smaller hotel specializing in wedding banquets.
Olivia was unsure why the Sauns chose the hotel for an event as significant as a family reunion. Though, she did not ask too
much about it. She knew her job was setting up the place and making her clients happy. That way, she would get more
opportunities in the future.
"Do you know anything about the girl?" asked Dahlia.
"I have no idea. The Saun family has kept it very confidential. They haven't disclosed specific information about their daughter,
probably to avoid any complications before the event."
