Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted by Eleven Jewell

Chapter 1659
The executive across from Aldor said, "Surely, you must be joking. I haven't heard any updates from the search and rescue
team."
"It's not Mr. Kane, but someone he designated," Aldor explained.
The man chuckled lightly, "To my knowledge, Mr. Kane has never officially appointed someone to lead in his absence. It's odd
that this is only being brought up now, especially since he's been missing for quite a while. Are you sure he designated this
individual, or was it your choice, Aldor?"
Aldor glanced at the man, his expression composed, "Mr. Kane is accustomed to being prepared for any situation. If he took the
step to create a will, it's reasonable to assume he would also consider appointing a representative. He chose the current acting
representative through a legally binding contract overseen by a trusted lawyer. In his absence, they are authorized to attend
crucial company meetings on his behalf. Any decisions made by them directly represent Mr. Kane's intentions. Do you have a
problem with that, Mr. Walker?"
The executive was momentarily taken aback, looking somewhat disgruntled.
Jackson glanced at Aldor and casually remarked, 'Without the board's approval, I think they can refuse to acknowledge the
appointed representative."
Aldor nodded, "For someone at your professional level, indeed they can. However, given Mr. Kane's position in the company, he
doesn't need to inform the board. He only needs to pledge certain assets to the company to designate a representative."
He opened the folder before him and said, "This is the asset pledge agreement Mr. Kane used. You may take a look."
Jackson remained unruffled. He could sense Aldor's disdain for him in the tone of his voice.
As he was about to tell him off, Chandler spoke up, "Being an acting representative doesn't exempt them from following
company policies. Failure to arrive on time should be automatically deemed a forfeit."
Aldor furrowed his brows.
As per company guidelines, no one could enter the meeting room after fifteen minutes from the allocated time;

tardiness resulted in automatic forfeiture. It was apparent that the board did not want the acting representative to attend this
meeting.
Aldor was about to speak when someone pushed the door open. A woman's voice echoed in the ears of everyone present, "I'm
sorry for being late. I was looking for something, and it took longer than expected. Hello everyone. I'm Stella Hall, Alex's
temporary leader."
Alex was the codename for Keegan's research and development team.
The unexpected introduction left many people puzzled.
They had assumed that the person Keegan designated would be a high-ranking executive of the company. Never in their wildest
dreams did they expect that the person he appointed was a woman who had never worked in this field before.
The executives immediately broke out into discussion.
"Who is this woman? Why did Mr. Kane appoint her to represent him?"
"She's Mr. Kane's ex-wife and also Wenham's daughter. I heard she's an actress."
"Actress? You must be kidding me."
"Mr. Kane is missing because of her, they say. With his love- struck mindset, it's not surprising he would designate her as his
acting representative."
"This is a serious matter. He's playing with the company's future."
Despite being surrounded by all the talk, Stella remained composed as if she had not heard a thing. She walked straight in,
followed by Ted and a middle-aged man in his forties.
Aldor stood up and pulled out Keegan's seat at the table. ’ Please have a seat, Mrs. Kane," he warmly said.
Just as Stella was about to take her seat, Chandler suddenly spoke up, "Hold on, Ms. Hall. If I remember correctly, your father's
company is also involved in businesses similar to Vinci Rivera, right? Is it really appropriate for you to be the head of Alex?"
Stella looked at him and said, "Are you concerned that I would leak Vinci Rivera's secrets to my father, Mr. Kane?"

Chandler met her gaze, "My duty extends to the entire company. I hope you understand, Ms. Hall."
