Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted by Eleven Jewell

Chapter 1839
Keegan was stunned to hear that Stella was drinking vinegar.
Stella slid a cup toward him and said, "Try it. The vinegar arrived last night. Go on and see if it has the right kick."
Keegan waved it off. "You enjoy."
Stella smirked and brought it to her lips, taking a sip.
Since her pregnancy, her palate had evolved, steering away from the spiciness she once favored to a penchant for sweet and
sour flavors. However, her doctor recommended she cut back on sweet treats to ensure a healthy weight for the baby.
Hence, Cordelia had a friend make some homemade fruit vinegar that carried a subtle sweetness and a strong fruity fragrance.
Stella tried it for the first time today, and it suits her tastebuds perfectly.
As Keegan finished putting on his shoes, Stella called out to him once more, "My brother is returning tomorrow."
Keegan halted, asking, "What time is he arriving?"
"He mentioned catching a flight tonight and reaching tomorrow morning. He said he'd get in touch with me before boarding."
Nodding, Keegan responded, "I'll come with you to pick him up tomorrow."
A smile spread across Stella's face as she replied, "Okay."
"Keegan, wait a sec." Aurora descended the stairs, getting Keegan's attention.
She handed him a bottle of medication, explaining that Jaylene had given it to her when dropping them off. "She wanted me to
pass this on to you."
Stella observed the medicine bottle, remembering Keegan using it for his headaches. 'What kind of medicine is this? It seems
quite effective, and why is there no label on it?'
Keegan accepted the pills and asked Aurora to thank Jaylene for him.
Aurora acknowledged his request and retreated upstairs.

Stella stood up with a tie in hand and walked over to Keegan.
He was about to grab it when she said, "Let me help you with it."
Keegan hesitated but consented.
Stella tiptoed and looped the tie around his neck, expertly tying a Windsor knot.
"Ease up on the meds," she murmured, "Using a fast-acting medicine with powerful ingredients too often might not be beneficial
for your body."
Truth be told, Stella did not entirely trust the medicine Jaylene provided. However, considering Jaylene's decade- long affection
for Keegan, she likely wouldn't endanger his health. Moreover, Keegan did experience relief every time he took the medicine.
Yet, Stella remained concerned about the rapid effectiveness of the medicine.
"Let's find another doctor later and get some milder medication."
Keegan lowered his gaze to look at her. Her voice was soft and soothing, yet traces of indissoluble worry lingered between her
brows.
"Alright," Keegan responded in a low tone. "I'll go with your judgment."
Stella gently adjusted his tie and said, "Off you go. Be safe on the road."
Keegan gazed deeply into her eyes before departing.
Not long after he left, Stella intended to tidy up and visit Leighton's place.
