Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted by Eleven Jewell

Chapter 1842
Not long after, Stella finally arrived at the Motives for Murder roadshow. Felicity and Stella sat in the corner of the audience,
watching as the host invited the creative team onto the stage one by one.
Nicole, the other main actors, and the director came on stage first. After a brief introduction, Leighton made his entrance.
Perhaps due to some prior engagement, he arrived looking slightly disheveled, but his popularity was undeniable. The moment
he stepped on stage, a wave of excitement swept through the audience, mostly comprised of his fans.
Stella and Felicity found themselves amidst the cheers, nearly deafened by the fans' screams.
Leighton was dressed in a black suit with a white undershirt. He had broad shoulders and long legs. Standing there, he looked
unbelievably handsome.
During promotional roadshows, interviews usually revolved around movie-related topics, followed by some fan interactive
segments.
Leighton's top-tier status as an idol wasn't just about his looks; it was equally earned through his demeanor and conduct at these
events. Even when fans hugged him without permission, he never showed annoyance and remained cooperative throughout.
Stella remembered what Leighton had said during their scene rehearsals.
He mentioned how his fans had crossed thousands of miles just to see him. He felt it was only fair to greet them with a smile
since they were willing to come for him.
Leighton was undoubtedly an outstanding idol in how he treated his fans, and it wasn't surprising that each of them was devoted
to him.
Thinking about this, Leighton happened to glance in Stella's direction, and she quickly waved the sign in her hand to show her
support. He spotted her immediately and gave her a smile.
Seeing this, the fans in the audience erupted into cheers.
Stella quietly recorded this moment with her phone and sent it to Daryl.

[Uncle Daryl, everyone has their own path in life. Maybe Leighton's dream isn't what you expected, but he's doing very well. Look
at how many people came for him. They all like him.]
As Daryl watched the video, his expression showed some emotion. He mumbled, "He reminds me of myself when I was
younger.”
Katherine looked disdainful. ' Don't flatter yourself. You didn't look as handsome as Leighton back then."
Daryl was taken aback by her words.
Katherine sighed, "But you two do have the same temperament and stubbornness. After all these years of quarreling, you seem
to be losing. He keeps proving that he didn't make the wrong choice."
"That's because my rigorous teachings caused him to flourish."
Katherine couldn't be bothered to argue with him and stayed quiet.
Having gained no fun, Daryl couldn't resist clicking on the video Stella sent again and watching it repeatedly.
After the roadshow ended, the main creative team left the stage. There was a private backstage interview scheduled later, which
was more casual and less publicized.
Stella contacted Estelle and sneaked into the backstage area with Felicity, posing as the cast's entourage.
Dressed in casual clothes and bearing a mask, Stella went unnoticed by a few actors she had worked with before.
Soon, they found Leighton being interviewed alongside Nicole.
Nicole, the youngest recipient of the Best Actress award, always had her relationship status under the media spotlight.
Throughout the years, she hadn't openly confirmed any romantic involvements apart from a brief fling with Vermont that swiftly
ended.
Nonetheless, speculations continued, particularly concerning her collaborations with handsome actors. They were frequently
entangled in dating rumors. Despite this, Nicole maintained her silence, intensifying public interest.
The journalist conducting this exclusive interview was keen on extracting information. However, as a seasoned professional in
the industry, Nicole maintained a smile and skillfully avoided giving direct answers.

As the conversation shifted to her relationship status, she playfully redirected the question toward Leighton. Jokingly, she said,
"Maybe it's time we go public, Leighton."
