Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

Chapter: 1030
During their chat, Lena inquired, “Sabrina, have you decided on a kindergarten for Jennie?”
“Not yet. Jennie wants me to go with her this afternoon,” Sabrina said. “I think it’s a good idea to consider the kindergarten
Frankie attended. It would be nice if they could attend the same school.”
Sabrina agreed. “Sounds great. I’ll take Jennie to have a look this afternoon. If she likes it, I’ll settle it down.”
Lena smiled, then hesitated before broaching a different topic. “I heard Tyrone had adopted Jennie. Jennie’s so fond of you. Is
there something between you and Tyrone? Are you thinking of reconciling?”
Sabrina was quick to clarify. “Lena, you’ve misunderstood. I only care about Jennie.”
“I see.”
Sabrina noticed the unease in Lena’s expression and asked, “What’s wrong, Lena?”
Lena took a sip of water and placed the glass on the table. She lowered her eyes and sighed. “I overheard him talking to that
woman again yesterday,” she said softly.
Lena was referring to Larry. Sabrina seethed. “How could he do that? It’s unacceptable!”
Lena was pregnant and thought it was better to stay in the marriage. But Larry still hadn’t severed ties with the other woman.
Feeling a surge of support from Sabrina, Lena’s eyes welled up with tears. She held Sabrina’s hand and confided, “Sabrina, I
don’t know what to do.”
Sabrina noticed that Lena looked thinner, with dark circles under her eyes. She looked weary. It was clear that Lena had been
going through a difficult time.
Lena was pregnant. It wasn’t good for her or the baby to go on Like this.
The word “Love” was mysterious. It could break a person’s heart without any trace, Leaving behind a thousand scars.
If Larry and Lena had married for practical reasons, Lena might have found it easier to navigate this difficult situation. However,
they wedded for love, and that was why Lena was enduring so much pain.

“Lena, how do you feel about having this baby?” Sabrina inquired solemnly.
Lena hesitated. “I don’t know...
Lena wanted to keep the baby, but after what happened yesterday, uncertainty clouded her mind.
The phrase “once a cheater, always a cheater” resonated in her mind. If Larry continued seeing that woman, then what was the
point of Lena being married to him? Maybe it was time to seek a divorce.
Sabrina said thoughtfully, “If you want this baby, I advise you to separate from Larry for some time. It’ll give you the time and
space to collect yourself, which is better for the baby’s well-being. It will also allow you to gauge his sincerity. But if you’re unsure
about having the baby, you should decide what you’re going to do soon.”
Lena expressed her gratitude, holding Sabrina’s hand. “Thank you Sabrina.”
Recently, Lena was immersed in sadness and couldn’t cheer up, but she needed to calm down. Otherwise, being depressed was
detrimental to the baby.
“I’m here for you if you need me.” After Lunch, Sabrina noticed Larry smoking in the yard. She approached him. “Larry.”
Larry turned around and nodded. “Sabrina.”
“I’m going to be direct with you. Are you still involved with that woman?”
Larry’s heart skipped a beat, and his hand that held the cigarette froze in midair.
He cleared his throat. “Which woman?” Then he took a drag on his cigarette, feigning indifference.
“Larry, be honest with me. Lena said she overheard you talking to that woman on the phone yesterday.”
Larry relaxed a bit after realizing he was overthinking.
He thought Sabrina was aware of what was going on.
Remaining silent, Larry Listened as Sabrina continued, “When I became a part of the Blakely family, you treated me like your
own sister. So, let me be candid. I know how you and Lena found happiness together. You were deeply in Love, and your child is

intelligent and outgoing. We all admired your relationship immensely. I believed that you both would cherish each other forever.
But I never expected you to cheat on her.
Why did you ask her to stay? Since she agreed to divorce, you haven’t shown her the Love she deserves. In that case, maybe
it’s better to let her go. She’s pregnant but so unhappy.”
Larry looked at Sabrina and Let out a deep sigh, exhaling a smoke ring. “Sabrina, if I say that woman and I aren’t in a romantic
relationship, will you believe me?”
“If that’s the truth, why can’t you tell Lena?”
Larry took another drag on his cigarette. “You’ll understand soon.” The people he sent to the border informed him that Hobson
had fallen into the hands of others.
The truth about Sabrina’s biological father couldn’t remain concealed any longer!
