Big Novel

Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

Instinctively, Sabrina looked at the van and found that the side door was open.
Alarm bells rang in her head and she was certain that something was wrong. However, it was too late for her to run away.
A man popped out of the car and grabbed Sabrina before she even saw him move. Sabrina tried to struggle, but the man pushed
her into the van and hit her on the back of the head with something blunt.
Sabrina’s vision went dark and she passed out.
At ten o’clock, Sabrina’s driver was beginning to get antsy when Sabrina still didn’t come out. He called Sabrina’s phone number,
but no one answered.
Ever since the driver started to work for Sabrina, Sabrina’s schedule was tight and often worked overtime or socialized until
eleven o’clock.
It was only ten o’clock, so the driver wasn’t worried that much. He thought Sabrina was still occupied, which was why she didn’t
answer the phone.
A few minutes later, he called her again. No one answered.
At that moment, the driver realized that something was wrong. He got out of the car and took the elevator to Sabrina’s office to
have a look. The door to the foundation’s office was already locked.
Perplexed, the driver called Sabrina again. No one answered the phone.
By now, the driver was starting to panic. He glanced at the locked door once again and hurried to the monitoring room of the
building to get the surveillance video. The people in the monitoring room were kind and allowed him to watch the surveillance

video. Since a lot of people came in and out of the building, it would take some time before the driver could catch a glimpse of
Sabrina.
After several minutes of watching the surveillance video, the driver finally saw Sabrina.

According to the time on the surveillance video, Sabrina entered the elevator and got out at thirteen minutes past nine. He could
see that she went to the underground, but that was as far as the surveillance video covered.
There was a shopping mall next to the office building. People could get to the shopping mall through the parking lot. There was
also a supermarket on the first floor of the shopping mall. Would Sabrina go there to buy something?
But it was over an hour now. Even if Sabrina went to the shopping mall, it shouldn’t take her this long to buy things. And she
wasn’t even answering the phone.
“Where is the surveillance video of the underground garage?” the driver asked.
The staff of the monitoring room exclaimed, “Something was wrong with the monitoring system of the underground garage
starting from yesterday. It hasn’t been fixed yet. There is no security camera covering any part of the underground garage.”
The driver was shocked.
His heart suddenly lodged in his throat.
How could there be something wrong with the security cameras when he needed to find Sabrina?

The driver was certain that this was no mere coincidence and that something was actually wrong with Sabrina. His hands
trembled as he took out his phone and dialed Tyrone’s number.
“He... Hello, Mr. Blakely. It seems that Miss Chavez is missing..
When Sabrina finally woke up, her head was throbbing, but that was the least of her problems. She couldn’t move her hands or
feet, which meant that someone had tied her hands and feet and left her on the ground.
The room she was in was pitch black, so she couldn’t even see her hands, let alone make out anything else.
