Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

Rita knew that Sierra had probably committed a crime like the policemen claimed. If the policemen succeeded in taking Sierra to
the police station, Sierra would be doomed.
The best thing she could do for Sierra right now was to prevent Sierra from being taken away by the police and send her abroad
overnight.
Rita pushed and pulled, fighting with the policemen until they were forced to defend themselves. Several male onlookers rushed
in to defend the seemingly helpless Sierra against the policemen.
After a moment, the younger policeman glared at all the men surrounding them and declared, “Didn’t you say you called the
police?
We will wait for them here. And once we are proven to be the real police, you will all be arrested!”
The men who were helping Rita just now looked at each other and didn’t know what to say. They started to think whether these
two men were real policemen.
Seeing that the men had stopped trying to help her, Rita shouted, “This is just another tactic! They want to scare you!”
At the same time, she winked at the crowd.
Suddenly, a big man rushed forward, pushed the older policeman, and cursed, “You loan sharks ruined my family! I must teach
you a Lesson today!”
If Sabrina had been here, she would have recognized the big man as one of the people who took her and Jennie to the hospital
to apologize to Nicol.

The older policeman was caught off guard and fell to the ground. The younger policeman was stunned for a moment and hurried
to help his senior off the ground.
The distraction was enough for Rita to grab Sierra’s hand and run away.
The younger policeman immediately chased after them, but the big man stopped him again.
“Didn’t you say we should wait for the police?”
The younger policeman’s face turned red with anger.
“By the time they arrive, the suspect will be gone!”
“What happened? Who called the police?”
At this time, three policemen in uniform came in.
“I did.” Stepping forward, the man who had contacted the police claimed, “They were pretending to be police officers.”
“You’re an idiot!”
The senior officer was now on his feet. He couldn’t hold back his words as he swore at that big man, then swiftly cuffed him.
Then, displaying his badge, the senior officer explained, “We’re here to catch a suspect, but she managed to escape, and these
men here...”
The senior officer looked coldly at the man and continued, “These men helped the suspect escape, and we need to hurry up.”

The local police verified the senior officer’s badge’s authenticity and told the man, “He is a real police officer.”
