Big Novel

Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

Sergio had already been aware of the fact that Sabrina was Leaving for a while now. It was quite impossible for him not to be
aware of the gossip in the office since Tyrone openly came in and out of the office with Galilea.
When Sergio was reporting work to Tyrone, he took the opportunity to ask, “I heard that Sabrina is leaving. Are you aware of it?”
Tyrone stared at Sergio calmly. “What does that have to do with me?”
Sergio floundered, unable to speak.
When Tyrone loved Sabrina, he schemed against others to stop them from making advances on Sabrina. When he didn’t love
her, he was indifferent.
Having known Sabrina for years, Sergio decided to return home and bid Sabrina farewell.
So, when Marnie asked him to go shopping with her, Sergio refused.
Marnie was unhappy with his refusal.
Sergio explained why he couldn’t go with her.
Marnie rolled her eyes and asked, “Is it Miss Chavez we met that day?
She is going to settle abroad? Why?”
Marnie remembered she had met Sabrina and Tyrone shopping together in the mall. All of a sudden, Sabrina announced that
she was relocating abroad. Did she break up with Tyrone?
“I don’t know. Everyone has their own choice.”

“Can I go with you?” Marnie looked at Sergio expectantly. “I know Miss Chavez, and she knows my cousin. I don’t think she will
come back for our wedding, so I want to see her off.”
Sergio had agreed to marry Marnie. He took her to the hotel, tried on the wedding dresses, picked up the ring, and took wedding
photos.
ALL in all, Sergio had done everything he ought to do, except for one thing – take Marnie to see his parents. Whenever Marnie
attempted to get the marriage certificate, Sergio would change the topic.
When Marnie hinted at getting the marriage certificate, Sergio told her after the wedding, he would transfer a house to her name.
Marnie was happy about it, but Sergio’s true meaning wasn’t lost on her. She knew he would not get the marriage certificate with
her.
The wedding was just a show for the public, preventing them from labeling the child as one out of wedlock. After the child was
born, Sergio could kick her away at any time.
But Marnie had done so much to be connected with the wealthy Blakely family. How could she settle for a house and thousands
of dollars?
No matter what, Marnie would find a way to persistently milk money from the Blakely family forever. That explained her visit back
to her own home. She had to have a grasp of the situation and make the most of it.
When Sergio heard Marnie’s request, he stared at her without saying anything.
He had studied her for a while.

Marnie stared back, feigning composed on the outside while she flustered. She couldn’t help but feel Sergio could see through
her with his penetrating gaze.
