Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

“It’s a get-together for old friends. I am not sure why Keilani’s butting in.” Bella pursed her lips.
Keilani? Sabrina wondered if it was the same Keilani she knew.
She was snapped out of her thoughts when Bella said, “Sabrina, can you come with me to the next door?”
“hy?”
“Blayze is there. Collen and the others are holding a party for him.”
Collen had told Bella about the party for Blayze, but she hadn’t expected them to choose the same club as she did. Even their
chamber was right next to hers. Had it not been for Keilani, Bella wouldn’t have known about it.
“Okay, I see.”
Understanding lit up Sabrina’s eyes. She suddenly remembered her recent chats with Blayze. He was concerned about how she
was settling down in Philade and had mentioned a few times that he would visit soon.
In the next room, several young adults of similar ages gathered around a round table with a lavish feast.
“Blayze, cheers,” William proposed with a smile as he filled a glass with wine. Then, he offered the glass to Blayze.
“Cheers.”
“Hey, Blayze, it’s been a while. Let’s make up for lost time with a good drink,” Collen remarked happily.
At this point, Collen, who already had his fair share of drinks, was feeling flushed and his face was slightly red.

Prompted by Collen’s words, the others all raised their glasses to Blayze in a toast.
“Folks, enjoy yourselves.” Blayze finally capitulated and downed the wine. He waved his hand and said, “I just got off the plane. I
can’t handle any more alcohol.”
““Blayze, what’s wrong with you? You change,” Collen challenged with a sly smile.
“Blayze, Collen’s challenging you! Aren’t you going to prove him wrong?”
Keilani, who just came in from outside, only heard the tail end of the conversation. “Prove what?” she asked.
“Nothing,” William replied with a smile.
Collen immediately changed the topic.
The room was buzzing with energy.
Several old friends, who hadn’t seen each other for a long time, were drinking and chatting happily.
At this moment, Bella, who was holding a glass of wine, knocked and entered. “What a coincidence.”
The room fell into silence, all eyes on Sabrina and Bella at the door, each gaze expressing different emotions.
