Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

“Sabrina? The adopted girl of the Blakely family?” Osiris raised an eyebrow. He had heard of her but they had never met.
“Indeed.”
Osiris sneered, “Elton, you’re overthinking this. Even if Tyrone is involved with Sabrina, what of it? You’re bending over
backwards to avoid distributing shares to Galilea, even resorting to media gossip.”
Elton replied, “I’m not overthinking anything. When I saw them, Tyrone was holding her hand and acting quite familiar. I
attempted to broach the subject of Galilea, but he didn’t respond. I understand it may seem like I’m being paranoid, but it’s
always better to err on the side of caution. Especially when the woman in question is Sabrina, a beloved figure to Cesar...”
Without needing to elaborate, Osiris understood what Elton was implying.
Sabrina’s status was special. If there was any truth to a romantic entanglement between her and Tyrone, it signified that Galilea
would not be becoming Mrs. Blakely.
“Sabrina? I never thought that such an adopted child would prove so formidable.”
Observing Osiris’s reaction, Elton proceeded, “I fully recognize Galilea’s contributions to our company. Rest assured, she will get
her fair share. However, the immediate concern is not about her share, but her potential marriage into the Blakely family,
solidifying her position as the true Mrs. Blakely. We need to prioritize the Larger picture here, Osiris, or we might find ourselves in
trouble.”
The Clifford family had a reputation to uphold.
Rumors about Tyrone and Galilea’s relationship were circling globally.
If Tyrone were to marry another, it would mean public humiliation for the Clifford family.
And then, would Galilea break up with Tyrone or be his mistress?
A potential breakup between Galilea and Tyrone could indeed have repercussions on their social interactions and the company’s
projects.
Likewise, if Galilea were to become Tyrone’s mistress, it could severely damage their reputation.
Osiris wouldn’t stand for such outcomes. He had worked hard to earn the respect he held.

If Tyrone were to marry someone else, it could potentially subject him to ridicule and mockery.
“I’LL get in touch with Galilea and inquire about the situation.”
With that, Osiris reached for his phone and dialed his daughter.
After a few rings, she picked up. “Hello, Dad? What seems to be the problem?”
“Have you finished your work today?” Osiris asked.
“I just wrapped it up and made it back to the hotel,” Galilea replied.
“Galilea, there’s something I need to know. How’s Tyrone treating you these days? How’s your relationship holding up? Has he
ever talked about marriage?”
Silence followed, filling the air.
Osiris’ face took on a grave expression.
