Big Novel

“What else can the organization do with us? Keep you and me around to expose all their secrets?” Rhea chuckled.
Mike asked calmly, “Then why are you desperately trying to find them and walking into a death trap?”
“Of course not. I’m seeking hope because I don’t want to die. Now I’m giving you a second chance to cooperate with me by
offering you a way out too. Do you understand?” Rhea looked somewhat proud.
It was as though she was his savior, and he should be grateful to her.
Mike did not mince his words and asked directly, “Just by relying on Cameron Rollins?”
“Yes, him, among others. I just want the organization to see my potential,” Rhea paused and continued, “Of course, everyone
has shortcomings. I don’t have your wealth and worldwide connections or your network. So there are some things only you can
do.”
Mike said deeply, “Once I find the organization’s whereabouts and connect you to it, you’ll kick me aside like garbage.”
Rhea chuckled softly. “Of course not! I told you. Everyone has shortcomings, and you complement mine. So you are my suitable
long-term partner in this collaboration, not garbage.”
Mike analyzed her words calmly, not swayed by her words. “The organization’s resources are probably more than mine! Besides,
even if you’re willing, how can you ensure the organization will keep me?”
Rhea shook her head and replied, “Since I have bargaining chips, I have my methods, too. Do you know how not to be
abandoned or be a discarded pawn in the long run?”
Mike slowly shook his head as he looked into her eager eyes.
Rhea continued, “It’s to become the one who makes the final decisions. It’s to have the power to determine your fate instead of
entrusting it to others!”
‘That’s something I only just realized!’
Previously, she had wholeheartedly served the organization. On the one hand, Rhea knew that without its resources and
support, she would be unable to achieve much alone. On the other hand, she believed she and the organizations shared similar
aspirations.

Recently, she had increasingly discovered she was simply expandable in the organization’s eyes, ready to be discarded at any
moment.
Despite her efforts and contributions, they did not value her. Once they encountered someone with more excellent value, like Lily,
they quickly cast her aside.
Moreover, Rhea had predicted that. Even if she did not act, the organization would quickly eliminate her. She could not just sit
and wait for death and had to fight for her destiny. Rhea aimed to eliminate the organization and take its place!
Mike could not read her thoughts but sensed some implications from her words. He could not help but feel shocked.
‘This woman’s ambition surprises me.’
“You know the organization has more resources than me, too. It has existed for so long, and it’s so mysteriously powerful. Do
you honestly think you and I can change anything?” Mike asked.
‘Is she delusional?’
Mike looked at Rhea’s excited face with that thought in mind. He felt he was unwittingly moving forward in an unfathomable
abyss.
