The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 1668
James returned to Common Clinic.
As he entered the clinic, he heard someone speaking on the phone.
“Love you! Mwah! Alright. I have to go. I heard someone coming back, it must be James. I’m hanging up now. Bye!”
Henry hung up the phone as James walked into the clinic.
He immediately stood up and asked, “How did it go, James? Did you see Thea?”
“Yeah, but I got kicked out.”
James sat down despondently.
“Don’t worry, have some patience. If you don’t mind me saying, James. I think your current appearance isn’t helping you win her
back at all.”
“Is that so?”
Henry said, “Of course. Think about it, Thea has no memories of the past few years and only can remember events from when
she was eighteen. That meant her current mentality is of an eighteen-year- old. What do you think girls around that age would
like? They love clean and charming men. Look at yourself. You’re a mess.”
“You’re right.”
James suddenly came to a realization.
He had not cut his year in the past year.
The following day, James headed out early in the morning.
He went to the hair salon, cut off the long hair he had kept for a year, and bought himself a white suit.
After dressing up, he instantly became much more attractive.

He followed Henry’s suggestion, went to the florist to buy 99 roses, and then went to a boutique to buy some dresses that would
fit Thea.
Then, he brought the gifts to Callahans’ villa.
It was almost nine in the morning when he arrived at the villa.
At that time, almost all the Callahans’ members were present.
When James arrived, he was welcomed warmly.
Gladys accepted the gifts happily and said with a smile, “It’s already enough that you’ve come to visit. You didn’t need to get gifts
for us. We’re family. There’s no need to be so formal with us.”
“Where’s Thea?” asked James.
“She hasn’t woken up yet. I’ll go get her.”
Gladys turned around and was about to head upstairs to call Thea.
Unexpectedly. Thea walked down the stairs.
She was dressed in white pajamas, and her hair was a little messy, but she had an adorable appearance.
Since she had just woken up, she still looked slightly groggy.
“Mom, who is it? What’s with all the noise?”
She turned to the guest and saw James sitting in the living room.
James had completely turned into a different person overnight.
Now, he had short, neat hair and was dressed in a white suit. James was a martial artist and could discharge the impurities and
melanin in his body, allowing his skin to become flawless once more. He looked fair and trim, radiating a bright and handsome
aura.
“Mom, who’s this?”
Thea did not recognize him.

James immediately picked up the flowers and handed them to Thea, who was walking toward them. He smiled and said, “Hello,
Thea. These are for you.”
Initially, Thea wanted to refuse them, but since a handsome man had personally given her the flowers, it was hard to refuse
them. She shyly took the flowers from him.
“You’re so beautiful, Thea. You’re just like these flowers. Pretty and mesmerizing...”
James began to compliment her.
These are words Henry had taught him last night.
He recited them to himself for a long time.
Although the cheesy words were painfully cringy, he went all out to appeal to Thea.
Hearing his compliments, Thea grew even more embarrassed.
“W-Who are you? Why’re you giving me flowers on our first meeting...”
Thea lowered her head and uttered softly.
“It’s me, James.”
“What?”
Thea immediately raised her head and looked at James. After scrutinising his face for a while, she realised it was him and
immediately pushed the bouquet back into his hands.
“Why do you keep pestering me?! I don’t need your flowers. Go away. I don’t want to see you.”
Thea chased him out.
“Thea, James is your husband. You should treat him better.”
“That’s right, Thea. The Callahans’ success today is all thanks to James.”

“Thea, James is an outstanding man! He used to be the Black Dragon of the Southern Plains, the Dragon King, and even the
Emperor! If he hadn’t disappeared during the election, he would’ve become the King of Sol.”
“That’s right. If he did not disappear, he would’ve become king, and you would’ve been his queen.”
The Callahans all took turns to convince Thea.
