Chapter 1767
Wilbur turned around and began leading the way.
However, no one dared to follow him.
James quickly said, “Let’s go. We’ll find the dragon if we follow him.”
With James’ reassurance, the martial artists began to follow him.
Wilbur led the martial artists into the depths of the Dragon’s Abyss. It did not take long before they reached the coast near a
strait.
He pointed to the strait ahead and wrote in ancient script on the ground.
“The dragon dwells in the strait ahead of us.”
There were quite a few people present who could read ancient scripts from thousands of years ago.
Seeing the words written by Wilbur, they became excited.
The Thunder King said, “Since we already know the dragon’s location, what are we still waiting for? I’ll go lure the dragon out,
and everyone can attack together. I’m sure this beast can’t take us all on at once.”
After speaking, the Thunder King was about to rush into the strait.
However, Thomas dashed in front of him and blocked his path, saying coldly, “If you want to die, don’t drag everyone else down
with you.”
The Thunder King glared at Thomas and shouted, “What do you mean by this? Who are you to speak to me with such
impudence?”
The atmosphere immediately tensed up and became uneasy.
Thea quickly came between them and diffused the tension. “Don’t act recklessly. We should discuss this first.”
The Thunder King replied, “I’ll let this go because of the Great Grandmaster. You better pay more attention to how you speak to
me in the future or I’ll tear you apart in just minutes.”
Thomas smiled faintly and did not respond.
Everyone gathered together and began discussing how to lure and kill the dragon.
Standing behind, Linna whispered, “Captain, you’re not a reckless person. What’s wrong?”
“Ha.”
The Thunder King sneered and whispered, “It was all just an act.”
As he spoke, his face darkened.
“Don’t go all out later. Save as much strength as possible. After the dragon is slaughtered, kill everyone here. The dragon’s blood
will be ours, and we’ll become immortals. In the future, we’ll be the ones that dictate the rules in this world.”
“Understood.”
Linna and the other psychics nodded.
Meanwhile, James and the others were forming a plan.
Everyone suggested Thea should be the one to lure out the dragon since she was the Great Grandmaster.
Thea was about to agree, but James pulled her behind him and stepped forward, saying, “I’ll go it instead.”
“That’ll work too.”
“We can rest assured if you’re going since you’re stronger than Thea.”
Everyone nodded in agreement.
Callan reminded. “Be careful out there, James.”
Polaris Sect’s Archibishop also said, “Do be careful. We’re facing a dragon. Even with our collective strength, we might not
successfully kill it.”-
Thomas also advised. “If you face any problems, you don’t have to force it.”
James nodded. “Alright. I’ll be careful.”
With that said, he left and headed to the strait before them.
He walked to the center of the strait. Standing on the water’s surface, he suddenly dived into the sea and disappeared from
everyone’s sight.
He kept descending into the bottomless strait. After advancing for more than a thousand meters, he still had yet to reach the
bottom.
Thus, he continued to go deeper.
When he reached about 3000 meters into the sea, he spotted some massive rocks and started looking around. Soon, he found a
cave.
The cave was enormous and was about tens of meters wide and hundreds of meters high.
He began to ponder.
According to Wilbur, the dragon has most likely hidden in the cave within this strait. He approached the cave entrance carefully.
Then, he pulled out the Primordial Dragon Sword and lightly flicked it.
A terrifying Sword Energy burst out into the deep waters and caused a tsunami.
Roar!
Suddenly, there seemed to be a loud cry from the dragon.
Seeing the disturbance in the cave before him, James knew that the dragon had awoken.
