With a heavy heart, he entered the woods surrounding Mount Bane. Then, he found a secluded spot and entered the Celestial
Abode.

“Spirit Tool, where’s Sophie?” he asked.
The Spirit Tool said, “She’s currently training the army you brought here.”
“Why can’t I sense her presence?”

Sophie is different. Although she’s not the Celestial Abode’s master, the late Emperor Jabari gave her many special prerogatives.
Thus, she’s can enter certain regions which you are forbidden from.”
“Quick, inform Sophie that I have business with her,” James said hurriedly.
“What business?” The moment James finished his sentence, a young maiden appeared before him and giggled. “Why are you in
such a hurry? Did something happen outside?”
“Sophie, you have to help me out this time.” James sobbed. “There’s a really powerful guy out there that wants to fight to the
death with me. I have no choice but to accept his challenge. I might lose my life.”
Sophie asked, “What’s going on? Calm down for now, alright?”
James took a deep breath and narrated the chain of events that unfolded-from his grudge against the Son of Heaven, whose
death brought about Magnus Quinnton’s appearance on Earth, to Magnus’ overwhelming strength.
Hearing this, Sophie’s expression turned grim.

“An Immortal Ascension at the Third Stair... Now, this is complicated.” She looked at James and said, “Your rank is too low at the
moment, and the power disparity between you and Magnus is too great. I can’t do anything to help. Even if you cultivate inside
the Time Chamber for a week, you’ll only reach the Herculean rank at most. You won’t stand a chance against him.”
“Wh-What should I do, then?” James looked at her pleadingly and said, “Sophie, are you going to sit by the sidelines and watch
