The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 2159
James’ blood melted into the eggshell and was absorbed into it, disappearing without a trace.
At that moment, a powerful force came from inside the eggshell and rapidly absorbed James’ blood. James had lost too much
blood in such a short period, his face went pale.
He showed signs of passing out and wanted to withdraw his hand.
However, the force coming from the eggshell was powerful, and he could not retract his hand.
Gradually, he started to feel dizzy.
Just when James was about to pass out, the force disappeared, and he fell headfirst to the ground. He did not even have the
strength to get back up.
He mobilized his True Energy.
His True Energy circulated in his body, and he activated the regeneration ability in his blood.
James struggled to get up, then sat in the lotus position on the ground as he stared at the eggshell.
Right in front of his eyes, the egg began to shine with a dazzling purple light.
Crack!
While in a daze, James heard the sound of the egg beginning to hatch.
Cracks appeared on the eggshell, and purple light shone from within.
Sophie also stared at the egg.
At that moment, she knew the Gorger, which had been sealed for a long time, was about to be born. This was the offspring of a
mighty creature. Once it was born, it would command extraordinary strength.
As for how strong the Gorger would be, Sophie had no idea.

Under the two pairs of watchful eyes, cracks spread throughout the eggshell. It looked like shattered glass and its surface was
completely covered in dense, web-like cracks.
Suddenly, strange sounds came from within the eggshell. It sounded as if a woodpecker was pecking at the shell.
Craaaw!
A clear cry rang through the stone house.
The eggshell was completely broken and was scattered across the ground like purple fragments. Then, a strange creature flew
out.
James stared at the stunning creature.
It had the appearance of a bird creature and was covered with purple feathers all over its body. It also had a pair of wings full of
luxurious amethyst feathers.
“I-Is this the Gorger?”
James’ eyes widened, and he was at a loss for words. He was surprised that the creature was incredibly beautiful.
The bird looked at James. It had bright and clear eyes, and a purple glow shone from its eyes. It sensed a familiar aura from
James and could feel their connection through its blood.
Although the Gorger had just been born, it was already highly intelligent.
It flew toward James and circled around his head, chirping melodiously.
James also sensed the Gorger’s elation. He stood up and stretched out his hand to stroke its beautiful purple feather, saying with
a smile, “I never thought it would be so beautiful.”
Sophie looked at the Gorger and said smilingly, “It’s finally born. From onward, you must treat the Gorger well, James. It’ll serve
you well.”
James nodded and said, “Indeed, I will. By the way, do you know how strong it is? I can sense that it’s rather powerful.”

Sophie smiled gently, changed the subject, and said, “If there’s nothing else you require of me, I’ll head back into the Celestial
Abode. You can return along the same path. As for the other treasures within the formation, you’re not worthy enough to acquire
them now. When you’re strong enough, you can try again in the future.”
After speaking, she waved at the Gorger and said, “Little Gorger, you should come with me to the Celestial Abode.”
“You’re bringing it to the Celestial Abode?”
James was taken aback.
Sophie nodded and said, “It’s in a weak state right now. It’ll take some time for it to grow. I’l bring it to the Celestial Abode. After it
grows and becomes stronger, I’ll release it back to you This is the best option for the both of us.”
The Goger understood Sophie and turned to look at James.
James stroked its feathers and said cheerily, “Go on.”
Then, he unlocked the Celestial Abode, allowing Sophie and the Gorger to transport themselves into it.
He did not continue to linger and quickly returned along the same route.
Soon, he left the grotto.
When he walked out, Laelia was already waiting outside for him.
