Quintina was the daughter of the Ancient Clan’s Leader in the Ancient Realm.
James spoke with her while he was in the Ancient Realm, but it had already been a long time since they last met.
Quintina was a Grand Supernatural born with magical inscriptions within her body. A prodigy like her was destined for greatness
even in the Apocalypse Age.
Hearing a voice, Quintina stopped cultivating and raised her head to see the person approaching her. She was slightly taken
aback to see James.
After a few seconds, she stood up excitedly.
“J-James?”
James walked over to her. When he saw Quintina’s pale face, he immediately realized that the curse had taken a toll on her.
“It’s really you, James!”
Quintina stared at James intently. After confirming his identity, her pretty face lit up as she asked, “Where have you been for so
long?”
James replied, “I was off to train for a while.”
He sat beside Quintina and asked, “What’s the current situation in Bane City?”
Quintina’s expression immediately darkened when James asked about Mount Bane.
“Many Foreigners have come to Earth. They are extremely powerful, and among them is a cruel race. They drove out all of the
humans in Bane City and made a rule that humans were not allowed anywhere near Mount Bane. Any humans that trespass will
be killed without mercy.
“After being chased out of the city, some humans secretly headed to Mount Bane intending to meditate in seclusion. However,
they were all killed after being discovered.

“As a result, cultivators from the Three Thousand Worlds don’t dare to carelessly step foot on Mount Bane and only stay outside
its periphery.”
James prodded her for more information, “Do you know more about this race?”
Quintina shook her head and said, “I’m sorry, I don’t.”

A voice called out from nearby.
James turned toward the voice and saw a man in a golden robe walking over.
“Harold,” James greeted him back.
Harold was also from the Ancient Realm. He was once a disciple of the Divinity Sect, the greatest sect in the Ancient Realm, and
was a direct disciple of the Divine Holy Emperor. Like Quintina, he was also a Grand Supernatural.
Harold walked over and glanced at James.
“You finally showed up! I’ve been working hard these past few years to cultivate and defeat you one day!”
Harold was excited to see James and the sight of his rival spurred his motivation.
James smiled lightly in response. He acknowledged Harold was a prodigy. Anyone that was born a Grand Supernatural was
inherently powerful. None of them were weak. However, James still felt like Harold had a long ways to go.
He looked at the two and asked, “Are you both resisting the curse well?”
Quintina gently shook her head and said, “The curse is awful. Since I was cursed, I’ve encountered countless problems which
have greatly hindered my cultivation. Harold also nodded solemnly and said, “Yeah, same here. The universe is set on wiping out
humans. However, I will go against the curse and achieve great things in the Apocalypse Age. James scanned the surroundings.
About 100,000 cultivators were gathered in the area.
All of them were cursed, but they were strong and could suppress the curse’s effects for now.
Most of those who died under the curse were ordinary people.

Seeing this scene, James heaved a sigh of relief. Judging by the current strength of human cultivators, humanity could possibly
survive until elixirs to suppress the curse were invented.
Quintina asked, “By the way, James. Why did you come here?”
James' expression softened as he replied, “I heard a Foreign race has been causing trouble in Mount Bane, so I came to check
on the situation.”
