James recalled his promise and said to Jules, “I have another favor to ask you.”
Jules patted his chest and said confidently, “Whatever you need, I’m at your service!”
James explained the crisis encountered by the Stardust Realm.
Jules vowed, “No problem! Leave it to me. The Stardust Realm is my home. I won’t let anyone mess with it!”
With Jules’ word of assurance, James was relieved.
At that moment, a disciple of the Elixir Pavilion approached and said respectfully, “Young Master, a few people have arrived
outside our mountain gates requesting to see James.”
“Reject them.” Jules immediately refused the visitation.
James was famous now and did not have time to meet just anyone.
“Young Master, one of them claimed to be Thea Callahan.”
Hearing Thea’s name, James immediately asked, “What did you say? Thea is here?”
Jules knew that Thea was James’ wife. He slapped the disciple reporting to him and cursed, “Why are you still here? Go and
invite them in!”
“Alright!” The disciple quickly turned around and left.
James never expected Thea to come to the Holy Realm.
‘Isn’t she supposed to be gathering information about the Sanctuary of Darkness in the Eidolon Realm?’
After waiting for a while, a group arrived at the courtyard.
It was Thea, Xainte, and the Martial Reverend of the Eidolon Realm.
The Martial Reverend immediately greeted James respectfully, “Mr. Caden.”
James lightly waved his hand.
He turned to Thea and asked, “What are you doing here, Thea?”
Seeing many people in the courtyard, Thea hesitated to speak.
James immediately understood that Thea had something important to tell him. He glanced at Jules and the others, saying,
“Leave us alone for now.”
“Of course, Mr. Caden.”
Jules did not linger and quickly left the courtyard.
Apart from Thea’s party, only Yevpraksiya and Monica were left in the courtyard.
Xainte glanced at James and said, “I didn't expect you to find another woman so fast.”
James immediately reprimanded her, “What nonsense are you spouting? She’s my disciple.”
Meanwhile, Monica was trying to figure out who Thea and Xainte were to James.
James glanced at Monica and Yevpraksiya, then said, “You’re dismissed.”
“Yes, Young Master.”
“Alright, Sir.”
The two left the courtyard.
James pointed to the stone chair aside and said, “Sit, Thea. What happened? What made you travel all the way to the Elixir
Pavilion?”
Thea said solemnly, “After you left, we used some connections to investigate the Sanctuary of Darkness and finally discovered
some stuff. We learned that their powerhouses were all heading toward the Holy Realm. I was worried their target was the Elixir
Pavilion, so I rushed here.”
“Mhm.” James nodded.
He had already heard about it.
James had just found out the news and did not expect Thea to have gotten hold of the Sanctuary of Darkness’ movements so
fast.
The Martial Reverend said, “I came along to meet the Elixir Pavilion’s Master to report this matter.”
James waved his hand and said, “There’s no rush to report it to him.”
Surprised, the Martial Reverend questioned, “Why not?”
James said, “I learned that spies from the Sanctuary of Darkness managed to infiltrate the Elixir Pavilion. The enemy might get
hold of the news if you report it to him now.”
Thea looked at James and asked, “Then, what’s your plan?”
James smiled lightly and said, “I want to lure them out.”
He had already formulated a plan.
The Sanctuary of Darkness was a mysterious organization, and he did not know much about them. He wanted to use this
chance to lure all of their powerhouses out and wipe them out. Since Emperor Jabari and Nico were with him, he was not afraid
of them.
