The three of them advanced at high speed. They did not tear apart the void to get to their destination. However, since all three of
them were powerful figures, they could still move very quickly. One step, and they disappeared from the area.
Very soon, Thea started sensing the battle as well. Her expression was serious as she said, “The remnants of the battle are
frightening. Those fighting must have attained the Grand Emperor Rank’s Fifth Heaven or beyond.”
James’ power was comparatively weak, so he could not sense the aura of the battle. However, after hearing what Thea said, he
was stupefied. A fight between figures of the Grand Emperor Rank’s Fifth Heaven? There were only a handful of them in the
Boundless Realm. He thought of a possibility—a fight between the Leader of the Sanctuary of Darkness and Grand Emperor
Moacir Bartholomew.
“Hurry,” he called out, and his companions picked up speed.
It did not take long for James to finally sense the battle’s aura. The aura was so oppressive that even James felt suffocated.
He immediately contacted Emperor Jabari in the Celestial Abode and said, “Emperor, there are immensely powerful figures
fighting against each other. Perhaps we need your help this time.”
The Emperor’s voice came from the Celestial Abode. “Don’t panic. Look at the situation first.”
“Right.”
James did not say more and propelled forward. Very quickly, the three of them appeared near the battleground. There was an
intense fight on the surface of the sea. A man in a black robe was fighting against a middle-aged man in a gray robe. Their
power was so strong that a lift of their finger released energies destructive enough to wipe out the earth and the heavens.
James recognized one of them. The man in black was Tamuuz Darkness, the Sanctuary of Darkness’ Deputy Master. There was
also a woman he recognized. She was one of the officials of the Elixir Pavilion, Jadranka Yevdokiya.
Beholding this, James exhaled a long breath.
Thea looked at James anxiously and asked, “What do we do now, honey?”
James shook his head slightly and said, “Don’t panic yet. Let’s watch and see.”
He saw a man at a distance who did not partake in the battle—Tadhg Gallagher, the Leader of the Sanctuary of Darkness. Tadhg
was merely staring at the battle ahead. Although Moacir was strong, Tamuuz was his equal. With Jadranka helping on the side,
Moacir was not a worthy opponent at all.
Tadhg sensed someone else at the scene and immediately turned around. When he saw James and his companions, he
became worried.
“Damn, how did they arrive so fast?” He looked concerned.
After some time, worry dissipated from his face. In the next moment, he appeared in front of James and his group. This caused
James, Thea, and Nico to take a few steps backward and eye him cautiously.
Tadhg was rather good-looking. Wearing a faint smile, he said, “I didn’t expect you to arrive this quickly.”
James looked at him. While he felt shaken inside, he kept his expression calm and asked, “If my guess is correct, you must be
the mysterious Leader of the Sanctuary of Darkness.”
Tadhg smiled faintly and asked him, “Then, you must be the messenger sent by humans to the Boundless Realm in search of the
Ancestral God Rank Elixir?”
James was not shocked that his identity was exposed. That was because the Sanctuary of Darkness was very mysterious.
Having so many powerful figures within the Sanctuary, knowing such things was not a difficult feat. As such, he merely kept
quiet.
Tadhg was sure that his hypothesis was true. This was indeed the messenger sent by humans, James. There was only one thing
he was confused about—why was James’ rank so low? He was not fooled easily, however, as he was reminded of how James
had disrupted the plans of the Sanctuary multiple times.
He looked at James and said, “In the Primeval Age, humans and Ancestral Gods opposed the Heavenly Path, but all of them
disappeared after, taking the entire age with them. Although you’re a human, I advise you to think twice before you act. Why are
you siding with the humans? If you follow the Heavenly Path, you’ll obtain immortality.”
Tadhg began to persuade him.
