Previously, James knew nothing about Heaven’s Adjudicators, and everything he knew came from Sophie’s words. Besides, as
Sophie was not a Heaven’s Adjudicator, everything she knew came from the records of ancient texts. In the ancient texts,
Heaven’s Adjudicators were described to be ruthless and emotionless killing machines. So, James had been worried about
Winnie. Knowing that she was a true Heaven’s Adjudicator, he breathed a sigh of relief.
“By the way,” James asked, “will the Heaven’s Adjudicators during the Fourth Calamity be the embodiments of justice or will they
be Radomir’s subordinates?”
Melinda said, “The latter. In the Primeval Age, he modified some rules of the Heavenly Path. Once the time has arrived, the
Heavenly Path will resurrect the Heaven’s Adjudicators of the Primeval Age and annihilate all of mankind.”
Since Radomir was able to change the rules of the Heavenly Path, the Ancestral Gods of humans were able to detect it and
prepare the Ancestral God Rank Elixir in advance.
Speaking of the elixir, Melinda said with admiration, “The Ancestral God Rank Elixir is no ordinary elixir. Upon consumption, you
will gain the strength of an Ancestral God that is only slightly weaker than a Macrocosm Ancestral God.”
Speaking of the elixir, James said with concern, “The Ancestral God Rank Elixir has been divided into many fragments. At
present, there is still a remaining one outside. I hope I can find it before the Fourth Calamity.”
“Let’s hope so.”
James could only wait patiently for now.
Melinda did not linger for long. After a brief conversation with James, she hurriedly left.
Then, James remained in the Elixir Pavilion temporarily. In the meantime, he did not forget to cultivate the Sword Art in an
attempt to accomplish the second Consolidation.
Time passed.
In the blink of an eye, a thousand years passed.
At the back of the mountain of Sky City, James was sitting in a lotus position. His pores had opened up, and threads of Sword
Energy materialized from within his body and rotated in a circular motion. Meanwhile, his Sword Path Ousia hovered above his
head. Over the past thousand years, James had been comprehending the Sword Path left behind by the Ancestral Sword
Master. This pushed him to the verge of Consolidation.
At that moment, he was trying to accomplish Consolidation. A greater and greater amount of Sword Energy surrounded him.
Each of them possessed terrifying power.
The Sword Energies merged with the Sword Path Ousia, and the aura he exuded grew increasingly powerful.
This scene lasted for a few days.
After a few days, James’ aura subsided.
“Congratulations,” a melodious voice came.
Thea walked toward him with a smile on her face, “Congratulations on accomplishing the Second Consolidation. The power of
your Sword Path has reached even greater heights.”
James, on the other hand, smiled bitterly and said, “You’re already at the Second Heaven Grand Emperor Rank, whereas I’m
stuck at the Second Consolidation of the Divine Rank. The power disparity between us is too great.”
“What’s the hurry? Take it slowly, will you?” Thea smiled mischievously and said, “Besides, you are cultivating nine Ousias at
once. I only have one.”
James did a stretch and sensed the power coming from the Sword Path Ousia inside his body. A smile crept up on his face.
Though he was only at the Second Consolidation, his rank was stable, and the power that burst forth was immense. If he goes
all-out, not even a Quasi Emperor would stand a chance against him.
