The Almighty Dragon General

Maxine never expected Thea to come all the way to the Azurean Clan to see her.
“Cut to the chase, and tell me what you came to see me for.”
“It’s about James.”
“James...”
Maxine recalled the past.
She had been focusing on cultivating in the Demon Realm for the past thousand years, and James’ name had almost become
unfamiliar to her.
Hearing his name, she was immediately reminded of the things she had done in the past.
“What happened to James?” asked Maxine.
Thea described their journey to the Boundless Realm to find the Ancestral God Rank Elixir.
Hearing this, Maxine was shocked. She was surprised to find out that Thea had spent hundreds of thousands of years in the
Boundless Realm while only a thousand years had passed for her.
However, the most important part of her story was the Ancestral God Rank Elixir, which was crucial for the survival of the Earth’s
humans.
“So the last part of the Ancestral God Rank Elixir is missing?” asked Maxine.
Thea replied, “Actually, I’ve already found it. I’m the last part of the Ancestral God Rank Elixir. To activate the power of the
Ancestral God Rank Elixir, I’ll have to sacrifice myself. Once the Ancestral God Rank Elixir is completed, I’ll die and disappear
from this world.”
“What?” Maxine stood up in shock.
“It’s not a big deal.”
Thea had already accepted her fate.
Maxine sat down and asked solemnly. “What exactly is going on, Thea?”

Thea shook her head and said, “Honestly, I don’t really understand everything either. I only know that the Ancestral Gods in the
Primeval Age added a trace of my soul to refine the Ancestral God Rank Elixir.novelebook I’m currently the materialization of
those traces and part of the Ancestral God Rank Elixir.”
“Then what did you come to me for?”
Maxine was still puzzled by Thea’s intention.
Thea replied, “You’ve always been helping James from behind the scene back when James was still weak and had not become
a true cultivator yet. You know him very well, so I was hoping you’d continue to assist him after I’m gone. I’ll rest easy if I know
you’ll be there for him in the future.”
Maxine frowned at her words.
Thea continued speaking, “James is a very outstanding man and has a tendency of attracting females wherever he goes.”
Thea turned to Maxine and asked. “Do you still have lingering feelings for him? Are you still in love with him?”
After hesitating briefly, Maxine nodded slowly.
Thea smiled at her answer and said, “I’m reassured that James will have you and Quincy looking out for him in the future.
“Before the Fourth Calamity strikes, James will still belong to me. After that’s over, you’re free to seek him out.”
Thea stood up after she finished speaking and left.
Maxine sat in place pensively and was silent for a long time.
After speaking with Maxine, Thea left the Demon Realm and returned to Earth.
James stayed in Mount Bane for the next few days. Then, he returned to Wrymstead.
After returning to Wrymstead, he immediately met up with Thea.
Thea acted as usual, and James did not notice anything odd.
In Wrymstead Palace’s backyard, Thea suggested to James, “Darling, let’s go live in isolation while it’s still peaceful. Let’s spend
some alone time together where we last secluded ourselves.”

Thea wanted to use this opportunity to have a son with James to ensure the Cadens’ legacy would not end.
“Sure.” James agreed with hesitation.
James had been traveling around a lot in search of the Ancestral God Rank Elixir and was also exhausted. Thus, he wanted to
use this opportunity to rest well.
“Alright, let’s go!”
Thea tugged James and left.
The two left without informing anyone.
