The Almighty Dragon General

Murchadt looked at Letitia and said, “Go meet him.”
Letitia remained silent and simply turned to leave. Then, she headed to the foyer.
A man about twenty-five years of age was sitting there. Wearing a golden robe, he had a somewhat handsome-looking
appearance and exuded the aura of a playboy.
As Letitia walked toward him, he hurriedly stood up and looked at her endearingly.
“You’re here, Letitia.”
Letitia looked at him and asked coldly, “What are you doing here?”
Ximun said smilingly, “Murchadt promised me that you would bring me to Mount Sword God. My Sword Path Ousia has
accomplished the Third Consolidation, and it would be difficult for me to advance further. If I can listen to the Ancestral Sword
Master’s sermons, maybe I’ll gain some insight and cross into the Quasi Emperor Rank.”
Letitia looked at him and said, “I’m sorry, but I may not be able to bring you along.”
“Why?” Ximun asked puzzledly.
She replied, “That’s because I’ve promised someone else I would them along.”
“Who?”
“That’s none of your concern,” Letitia said and turned to leave.
Ximun chased after her and grabbed her hand, asking, “We have an engagement, Letitia. This is the perfect opportunity for us to
bond. Yet, you chose to bring someone else along. If word spreads, how would outsiders view the Lachesis and Zaccai
families?”
“That has nothing to do with me.”
Letitia was determined to bring James along. She knew he was no ordinary man the moment she laid her eyes on him. After all,
how could a man who had suffered so many Heavenly Path injuries be ordinary and mundane? Even though Murchadt was
afraid of him causing trouble to the family, she was not. Worse came to worst, she just had to leave the Lachesis family. In any

case, she was just a tool to consolidate the power of the family in her father’s eyes. She would never marry Ximun. As a prodigy
who cultivated three Ousias, she believed that only a genius greater than her would be worthy of her.
At that moment, Murchadt approached the two.
“Murchadt...”
Ximun immediately walked toward him with an aggrieved look on his face.
Murchadt looked at Letitia and ordered, “You must bring Ximun along to Mount Sword God.”
“No way.” Letitia was adamant.
“You...!” Murchadt was livid.
As Letitia turned to leave, Murchadt sighed and looked at Ximun, saying, “No worries. I’ll talk some sense into her. You should
leave for now.”
Ximun clasped his fist and said, “Thank you, Murchadt.”
Then, he turned to leave.
Since Letitia had nothing to prepare, she immediately went looking for James.
“Let’s get moving, Mr. Caden.”
“So soon?” James froze. He never expected they would leave so soon.
Since Letitia was not someone who loved hiding secrets, she simply answered truthfully, “I originally planned to make some
preparations. However, my father insists that I bring someone else along. That’s why we should sneak away while we still can.”
“Oh,” James said.
