Big Novel

The Almighty Dragon General

“Y-You’re...”
Lana took a few steps back in shock.
James put away his Ousias and said offhandedly, “It’s nothing special.”
“What in the...?”
Lana had a solemn expression. She stared at James, trying to discern more about him. However, James seemed impossible to
read and was very mysterious.
He had more than ten Ousias.
The Heavenly Path only permitted one to possess nine.
How was it possible for him to have so many?
“Are you truly human?” Lana exhaled shakily.
James reminded her. “I regard you as a family. That’s why I’m telling you my secret. Don’t tell others about it because it might get
me killed.”
“Why would you tell me specifically if you knew how contentious this information is and deliberately endanger yourself?”
James simply smiled in return. “You’re like a sister to me! Family shouldn’t keep secrets from one another, right?”
To be accepted by the Callahans, James knew he would have to develop a good relationship with their family members.
He planned to start with Lana. Then, he would gradually get closer to the other Callahans and eventually, win Thea over again.
James planned to tell Thea the truth after he wooed Thea.
Lana nodded and said, “Since you’ve chosen to trust me, far be it for me to betray it.”
Her eyes darted around as she fell into thought.
She was very interested in James. It was amazing that he managed to cultivate more than ten Ousias. When James grew
stronger, he would surely become the greatest cultivator in the universe. Lana wanted the Callahans to be associated with this

immensely gifted man.
“Your name is James Caden, right?” asked Lana.
James nodded. “Yeah.”
Lana prodded further. “Are you married?”
James shook his head and said, “Not yet.”
Hearing this, Lana grinned. She responded cheerfully. “That’s good. There’s many beautiful women in my family. What’s your
type? Let’ me know what you want in an ideal woman, and I’ll try to find you a match? You can marry into the Callahans and
become part of our family.”
James shook his head and said, “My ideal woman is Thea.”
Lana’s expression immediately froze. Then, she replied. “You should forget about her. It’s impossible. There’s absolute no
chance you’ll marry her.”
James shrugged and said, “Then there’s no need to discuss this matter.”
Lana approached James and giggled. “What do you think about me? I’m currently a Terra Ancestral God.”
James looked at her and smiled. “I consider you my sister, yet you’re romantically attracted to me?”
“Pfft!”
Lana said disdainfully, “I’m just joking. Although you’ve got great potential, your cultivation rank is still pitifully low. You don’t meet
the lowest requirements I want for a partner.”
“Thank goodness.” James heaved a sigh of relief.
His indifferent response ticked off Lana. She gritted her teeth and said, “I’m a beautiful woman and also an Ancestral God. Do
you think I’m beneath you?”
James quickly explained. “Wait, you don’t get it. I meant that I’m the one who’s unworthy as a partner. You’re a Terra Ancestral
God. That rank is extremely high, and I don’t think I’ll ever catch up to you.

“You’re such an outstanding woman and you shine brightly like the stars in the galaxy. I admire you a lot...” James hurried
uttered some flattering remarks.
Hearing his compliments, Lana’s mood eased. She said with a satisfied smile, “That’s more like it.”
After hearing numerous rumors about James, Lana took the opportunity to verify them with James.
James also used the chance to establish a good relationship with her. After a brief chat, the two grew much closer and laid the
foundation for James to approach the Callahans more easily.
“Alright, that’s enough chatting for now. I have to go check on Danielle.”
After chatting with James for a while, Lana left the courtyard.
James continued sitting in a lotus position. He propped his chin on his arm and began thinking about Thea.
