James heard about the Forsaken Land before.
During the Apocalypse Age, Melinda had mentioned its name. It was a place outside the Twelfth Universe that connected to
other universes.
“However...”
Radomir paused briefly and said, “If I leave, I’m not sure what kind of person Hadad will put in charge of the Heavenly Path. The
Heavenly Path is a very important existence, and whoever is in charge could secretly make changes to it. The universe might be
thrown into chaos if someone with evil intentions takes over my responsibility.”
Radomir had many thoughts. However, he had never told anyone about them. After meeting James, he felt as if he had found a
kindred spirit to confide in, and he began expressing all the worries he kept to himself for many years.
“Since other powerhouses have claimed a portion of the luck in this age, it will be impossible for others to become stronger. Only
after a Caelum Ancestral God falls will another be able to rise up.
“If it’s already this difficult to become a Caelum Ancestral God, it’ll be almost impossible for new Macrocosm Ancestral Gods to
come about.”
Radomir sported a sorrowful expression.
James was shocked that Radomir had long held such thoughts. Could it be that his concerns laid the groundwork for his future
rebellion?
James said calmly, “I don’t think it's that bad. At least the universe is peaceful, and everyone is co-existing well under the rule of
Mount Heavenly Path.”
Radomir immediately scoffed, “What do you know? The peace you see is only on the surface. Do you know about the other
eleven universes that exist in the Chaos? All these other universes have more than one Macrocosm Ancestral God. Our
universe, the Twelfth Universe, is the weakest among them.
“If the other universes invade us, we won’t be capable of resisting.
“Moreover, there is also the Dark World. Many powerhouses in the depths of the Dark World are Macrocosm Ancestral Gods with
multiple Macrocosm Powers. The reason why the Holy Master of Nothingness’ Age ended was because the Dark World incited
the Dark Strife.”
Radomir began to lecture James.
“You’re our universe’s hope, James.”
“When you become a Macrocosm Ancestral God, you’ll have at least three Macrocosm Powers at your command. Even
powerhouses in the Dark World will fear. You have to consider the wellbeing people of our universe, James. Don’t slack off, and
keep up the good work.
“As for how you’ll cross into the Macrocosm Ancestral God Rank, just leave that to me.”
James cast a surprised look at Radomir. He was puzzled by Radomir’s words.
‘He’ll sort it out for me? Could Radomir have rebelled against Mount Heavenly Path, killed Hadad, destroyed Mount Heavenly
Path, and created countless of Heaven’s Adjudicators, not for his own sake but for mine?’ thought James.
He was startled by the possibility.
If that were true, that meant he was the reason the Primeval Age fell to ruin and the reason the Human Race attacked the
Heavenly Path.
However, James maintained his calm composure.
“Let’s not discuss this now. We have to take it one step at a time,” said James.
Radomir nodded lightly and said, “Alright. First of all, I’ll teach you how to manage the Heavenly Path. After you’ve familiarized
yourself with it, I’ll head off for a bit and will leave the responsibility to you. To be honest, I’m relieved that you’ll be the one in
charge in my absence.”
“You’re leaving?” James was surprised.
Radomir said softly, “I don’t have the chance to become a Macrocosm Ancestral God in the Twelfth Universe. I must go to a
different universe and hoard the luck there. I might even have to travel to the Dark World to better my odds. After I become a
Macrocosm Ancestral God, I’ll return.”
From Radomir’s words, James knew everything naturally working toward history he was familiar with.
Melinda warned him not to interfere with history.
Thus, he chose not to meddle with anything. Nodding lightly, he said, “Good luck. I wish you all the best and hope you become a
Macrocosm Ancestral God soon.”
