After passing through the spatial passage, James let go of Melinda’s hand and walked toward the Callahan Residence.
“You’re here, Mr. Caden.”
“Good to see you, Mr. Caden.”
Along the way, many of the Callahans’ disciples greeted him respectfully.
James was no longer a nameless nobody. Now, he was a prodigy, famous throughout the universe. He was the strongest
cultivator amongst those below the Quasi Ancestral God Rank.
What’s more, he was the Deputy Leader of Mount Heavenly Path’s Mount Teva.
There were also rumors going around that James was about to marry Mount Heavenly Path’s Princess and was about to
become Hadad’s son-in-law.
He was about to become one of the most influential people in the universe. Therefore, the Callahans showed a lot of respect
toward James. James also greeted the disciples of the Callahans in a friendly manner. Then, he walked directly toward Thea’s
spiritual mountain. Soon, he arrived at Thea’s seclusion sanctuary.
Thea immediately showed up when he arrived at her sanctuary door.
Thea looked at Melinda, who was accompanying James. Then, she turned back to James and said coldly, “I see how it is,
James. You repeatedly refused to marry Sienna but then you immediately got together with Mount Heavenly Path’s Princess. So
you think Melinda is better than Sienna, is that it?”
James was taken aback by her words.
He never expected Thea to question him about the marriage with Melinda as soon as he came to the Callahan Residence.
James was unsure how to explain the matter to her. He scratched his head awkwardly and said, “It’s not what you think, Thea.”
Thea narrowed her eyes. “What else could it be? Did you forget who tried to save you when Mount Heavenly Path wanted to kill
you? Now that the crisis is over, you turn your back on us and suck up to Mount Heavenly Path.”
James knew it was impossible to explain the situation clearly with the way things looked now.
Before James could respond, Melinda stepped forward and said as she stared Thea down, “Please watch your words, Bria.
novelebook.comJames didn’t want to marry Sienna because he had no feelings for her.”
Thea looked at her and said, “So does he have feelings for you?”
“Of course.”
Melinda linked arms with James and said affectionately, “James and I have known each other for a long time. When we first met,
he took the initiative to strike up a conversation with me.”
Thea did not bother replying to Melinda’s provocation. She was a Caelum Ancestral God, and it would be petty of her to bicker
with Melinda.
Thea looked at James and asked coldly, “What are you here for?”
Thea was disappointed in James. She had done so much to bind James to the Callahans so that their family could become even
more influential in the future.
Ultimately, her efforts were wasted.
James, on the other hand, kept saying he liked her. Yet ultimately was going to marry Melinda.
‘Haha. Men can’t be trusted,’ thought Thea.
James said, “I came to ask you for some information. You’re a Caelum Ancestral God and should be well-informed. Do you, by
chance, know where the Ancestral Talisman Master’s spiritual mountain is?”
She was taken aback by the question. “The Ancestral Talisman Master?”
Although she was disappointed with James, she was a Caleum Ancestral God and had to give James his answer.
Her brows furrowed, and she asked. “Why are you asking about him?”
James said, “I obtained a few Curse Inscriptions by chance and cultivated the Curse Path. I wanted to look for him to ask for a
few pointers.”
Thea reminded him, “Whether the Ancestral Talisman Master is a good or bad person is ambiguous. He is a bizarre person who
is also prone to mood swings. You shouldn’t get close to him.
James had met the Ancestral Talisman Master before and understood his personality somewhat.
James said, “You just need to tell me his location. I’ll worry about the rest.”
