The Almighty Dragon General

The scenery was picturesque, and there was an abundance of Primordial Energy. There was even a terrifying Formation there.
The Callahans were a powerful family in this universe, and its might stemmed from the eight distinguished daughters who spread
the Callahans’ fame far and wide. However, even without them, the Callahans were still an influential family. The Callahans’
history can be traced back to the creation of the universe. A Grand Patriarch of the Callahans was one of the powerful figures
who appeared. However, as he was competing for a Chaotic Treasure, he was injured by the powerful figures from other
universes. Even though countless years had passed, the Grand Patriarch still had not recovered from his injuries and was still in
a closed-door meditation in a restricted area.
At that moment, Thea arrived at the mountain at the back of the Callahans and the restricted area. Before her was a stone
cavern, from which a powerful aura could be detected. The power of this aura stunned even Thea, who was a Caelum Ancestral
God.
“The Grand Patriarch’s aura is growing increasingly steady. His injuries must be close to recovering,” Thea murmured. Then, she
entered the stone cavern.
There was a stone house inside the stone cavern. Inside sat an elderly man who was dressed in a green robe. There were
mysterious characters circulating around his body, and each character possessed a terrifying Will of the Path.
“Grand Patriarch.”
As Thea appeared, she greeted him respectfully.
The elderly man dispersed his aura, and the mysterious inscription around him disappeared. Then, he stood up and glanced at
Thea before saying, novelebook.com“You’re here, Thea.”
“Mhm.” Thea nodded. “I am here to retrieve the Demon-Slayer Sword.”
Hearing this, the elderly man’s expression turned grim, and he asked, “Why do you need the Demon-Slayer Sword? Who do you
intend to fight against?”
Thea shook her head slightly and said, “I’m not planning to fight against anyone.”
“Then why do you need the sword?”
“I need to give it to someone,” Thea answered truthfully.

“To James?’ The elderly man looked at her.
“Yes,” Thea said, “James is about to leave the Twelfth Universe and head to a new universe to compete for providence. I don’t
know what rank he’s at now. But I do know that the Demon-Slayer Sword is a Chaotic Treasure that possesses greater strength
than the Crepe Myrtle Divine Sword.”
The elderly man sighed and said, “Thea, you must understand that the Demon-Slayer Sword was a sword left behind by a Lord
of the Dark World in the Twelfth Universe. When he was here to compete for other treasures, he was injured and lost the sword
in the process. I only managed to obtain the sword by chance. The Demon-Slayer Sword is too malevolent. At James’ rank, he
might not be able to control it.”
Thea said, “He has cultivated the Dark Path. As such, he must be able to wield the Demon-Slayer Sword. With a Chaotic
Treasure in his possession, he would be able to guarantee his safety.”
“Thea, have you fallen for him?”
Thea fell silent. Then, she shook her head and said, “I don’t know. Ever since he appeared in my world, my Cultivation Heart has
lost its composure. Even though I have been in closed-door meditation for many years, I cannot soothe it.”
The elderly man simply said, “The Demon-Slayer Sword doesn’t belong to the Callahans in the first place. Since I’m unable to
control the sword either, I won’t stop you from giving it to James.”
The elderly man headed deeper into the cavern, while Thea followed close behind. Soon, they arrived at the depths of the
cavern. There were many layers of Formation here.
After passing through the Formations, a sword glimmering in black appeared in full view. Mysterious characters were carved on
the sword, which exuded a terrifying power. Even a Caelum Ancestral God like Thea gulped upon sensing the aura exuded by
the sword.
