Big Novel

The Almighty Dragon General

Henrik blamed himself for James’ death. If he had been more careful, James would not have been lured into the trap.
Hadad’s expression was composed. After all, he sent James to the new universe so that he could die there. Now that James was
dead, there was nothing else to be concerned about.
“Give him a proper burial.”
Saying that, Hadad disappeared from view.
Burials were the customs of the Twelfth Universe. All living beings would be buried upon death.
Outside Mount Heavenly Path, James’ body lay on the ground. Beside him were a man and two women. They were Henrik,
Melinda, and Winnie.
Henrik said, “I don’t know much about James. I don’t know where to bury him.”
“We should bury him in the Human Realm.” Winnie said, “Find a spiritual mountain in the Human Realm’s Mortal Dimension and
bury him there.”
Winnie understood James. Though she came from the future, she was also from the Mortal Dimension as well. So, she figured
that her father would like to return to the Mortal Dimension.
“Alright.” Henrik nodded.
There was now an additional tombstone in the depths of a mountain range far beyond the reach of any living beings in the
Human Realm’s Mortal Dimension. When Henrik buried James, he also buried the Chaotic Treasures that belonged to him
alongside him.
“James, I will keep these Chaotic Treasures by your side. I believe that one day, a new fated one will be born, and the Chaotic
Treasures will once again see the light of day.”
Three people stood before the tombstone.
Henrik said, “Though he’s dead, his name has spread far and wide. His fame will spread throughout the thirteen universes.”
Melinda looked at the tombstone and remained silent. Winnie also stared blankly at the tombstone. The three remained there for
some time.

Many bizarre-looking plants began to grow before James’ tombstone. They contained a mysterious aura that even an Ancestral
God like Henrik could not understand.
The living had to continue on with their lives. After guarding James’ tombstone for a long time, they left. Melinda and Winnie
returned to Mount Heavenly Path, whereas Henrik simply disappeared without a trace.
Time passed. In the blink of an eye, the deadline the Dark Night Lord of the Dark World had given to Hadad was up. An Epoch
passed, and the Dark Wellspring could not be found. Enraged, the Dark Night Lord chastised Hadad for his incompetence and
launched an all-out invasion of the Twelfth Universe.
Thus began a universe-scale war. All powerful figures of the Twelfth Universe participated in the battle—the Ancestral Sword
Master, the Ancestral Talisman Master, the Five Ancestral Masters of Heaven and Earth, the Ancestral Needle Master, the Grand
Patriarchs of the Dragon Race, and even the Grand Patriarch of the Callahans who was in closed-door meditation.
Countless evil spirits invaded the Twelfth Universe, and the powerful figures of the Twelfth Universe fought back. This battle
lasted for an Epoch. During that Epoch, many Ancestral Gods perished on the battlefield. Yet, the Twelfth Universe entered a
golden age where many prodigies were born. These prodigies grew increasingly powerful and participated in the battle as well.
At the same time, other universes also came under the attacks of the Dark World’s forces.
A new wave of Dark Strife swept through all twelve universes. Meanwhile, the Macrocosm Ancestral Gods of the various
universes had no choice but to return home and defend against the Dark Army.
