Under the guidance of the powerful figures at the Ancestral Holy Site, James entered a spiritual mountain. There were many
buildings on the peak that were specifically built to accommodate Macrocosm Ancestral Gods and other powerful figures from all
over the twelve universes.
James and Quanesha were assigned an independent manor. So, James stayed in the manor for the time being.
“I wonder if Kallinikos Yoav, the Lord of the Ninth Universe, is here,” James murmured.
Kallinikos Yoav, the Lord of the Ninth Universe, cultivated the Sword Path. The Ancestral Sword Master once said that Kallinikos
cultivated many Macrocosm Powers through the Sword Path alone.
James was full of gratitude toward Kallinikos for he was the one who guided him into the Omniscience Path’s Third Stage when
the Thirteenth Universe was created.
As James used his Divine Sense, he sensed that there were many manors in the surroundings, and each of them hosted a
powerful individual. Sensing a familiar aura, James went straight ahead and looked for the source.
Soon, he arrived at a manor. Outside the gates stood eight armor-clad guards who wielded sharp swords. They exuded a
powerful aura since they were at the peak of the Caelum Ancestral God Rank and were only a step away from becoming a
Macrocosm Ancestral God. The moment James appeared, they blocked his path.
James looked at them and said with a composed expression on his face, “I’m looking for Kallinikos Yoav. Go report to your
superior.”
With James’ strength, he could easily defeat these guards who were at the peak of the Caelum Ancestral God Rank. However,
he did not do so but asked politely instead.
At that moment, seemingly receiving the approval of the manor’s owner, they immediately allowed passage to James.
James strode forward.
Many living beings were gathered in the foyer of the manor. As James entered the manor, everyone’s gaze was upon him.
James glanced at them. There were a total of four individuals, among which James could only recognize Kallinikos. However,
since they were together with Kallinikos, they can only be Macrocosm Ancestral Gods. Perhaps they were even Lords of other
universes.
Kallinikos pointed to an empty chair beside him and gestured for James to speak. James took a seat.
Then, Kallinikos asked, “Who are you? What business do you have with me?”
James smiled and said, “I’m Forty-nine. I come from the Twelfth Universe and am acquainted with someone called the Ancestral
Sword Master. He mentioned you in our conversation and said that his Sword Path originated from you.”
“Forty-nine?”
Hearing this, everyone was stunned. Apparently, they had heard of him.
“So you were the one who killed Santino Hiram of the Sixth Universe! I never thought that the Twelfth Universe would have an
ace up its sleeves. To think that someone like you is hiding in the shadows!” Even Kallinikos was stunned.
James smiled and said nothing.
Kallinikos asked, “Is something the matter?”
James said calmly, “Oh, nothing much. I was just passing by and figured I should make some friends. Also, I wanted to discuss
with you about the consolidation of the universe. What are your opinions on the matter? By the way, could you please introduce
me to your fellow guests?”
