The two soldiers clashed. Though their Four-Power Macrocosm Power was the same, James had imbued his soldier with Dark
Power. As such, his soldier's strength was stronger than the soldier materialized from Kallinikos' Sword Path. Kallinikos' soldier
was knocked back.
"Wow."
Kallinikos could not help but exclaim. He only wanted to test James' strength. He did not expect that James' soldier would be
able to deflect his attack and even knock his soldier away.
Though Kallinikos did not use his full strength, he was only a mere Five-Power Macrocosm Ancestral God. So, he hurriedly
summoned his soldier back to his own city.
The brief battle made James better understand the rules of the Chessboard of Heaven and Earth. There, Paths could be
transformed into soldiers. Besides, even if they were destroyed, one would not suffer any injuries.
Upon seeing James easily deflect Kallinikos' attacks, the other Macrocosm Ancestral Gods in the surroundings immediately
knew just how powerful James was. So, no one dared approach him.
Though the Chessboard was meant for discussing Paths, the fact that the Macrocosm Ancestral Gods of all twelve universes
were present meant that this was a competition. The last one standing would emerge victorious as the Lord of the newly
consolidated universe.
After James launched his attack, no one dared provoke him for they knew that they would not stand a chance against him. They
also knew they would not be able to remain too long on the chessboard and did not wish to miss this opportunity. So, they seized
the chance to attack the other Macrocosm Ancestral Gods by sensing the opponents' Paths and testing their strength.
However, at that moment, an armor-clad soldier charged toward James' city. As James glanced at the soldier, he immediately
saw through him. The soldier was made out of a combination of Curse Inscriptions, in which he could sense a Four-Power
Macrocosm Power.
The one who attacked James was Tomislav Santana. Seeing that Kallinikos' soldier was knocked away by James, he was
curious to see what Paths had Forty-nine cultivated.
He catalyzed the Curse Path and charged toward James, who also performed his own Path and clashed against Tomislav. The
moment they crossed fists, they immediately sensed the other's strength and Tomislav's soldier was immediately knocked back.

"How strong..."
Tomislav could not help but exclaim, "This is not a Macrocosm Power created through the evolution of a singular Path. Rather,
it's a Macrocosm Power created by the evolution of many different Paths."
Tomislav immediately sensed James' Path.
Meanwhile, James was also sensing Tomislav's Curse Path in earnest. He had also cultivated the Curse Path. However, he did
not use the Curse Path to cultivate Macrocosm Power.
At that moment, Tomislav's Path had been dissolved into the most fundamental Curse Script, which was ever-changing and
increasingly profound. In the end, it transformed into the Path that Tomislav currently used.
In the beginning, James could still comprehend them. However, when the Curse Script transformed into a Macrocosm Power, he
was beginning to lose comprehension. If he could not even comprehend a One-Power Macrocosm Power, there was no way he
was going to comprehend the others.
He could not comprehend them because he had limited time. However, he had witnessed the Curse Inscription that was created
by Macrocosm Power. With time, he would be able to completely comprehend them and use the Curse Path to perform a Four-
Power Macrocosm Power.
