The Almighty Dragon General

Chapter 4027 Once James launched his move, Yente already sensed the Dooms’ Chaos Power.
Yet, she chose to keep silent.
Her expression was serious as she interrogated James, “Who are you exactly? This is the base camp of the Cloud Race.
How did you get in?” James took a glance at her and smirked.
Then, a powerful force materialized in his palm as he raised his hand.
This caused Yente, who was lying on the floor, to float upwards into the air and then immediately formed a lotus position on the
ground.
James could sense the injuries within her.
With a wave of his hand, a powerful life force entered her body, temporarily halting the dissipation of her life.
Since Yente’s injuries were worsening rapidly without the ability to suppress her injuries, James had to do something.
His goal was not to murder her but to get some crucial information.
Yente’s glare at James was deadly.
James then sat down before her and asked her smilingly, “At this point, you must be wondering — Who am I? Why am | at the
Cloud Race’s base camp? Why am I here before you?” “Why then?” Yente asked coldly.
James tidied up his smile and said, “I temporarily halted the deterioration of your injuries, but there’s a time limit to what I can do.
So within this timeframe, you are to answer whatever I ask.
If the time limit is exceeded, your injuries will worsen.
By then, even if I open up the seal, it’s hard for me to say whether you can stay alive.” “Ask away,” Yente said.
This reply caused James to be slightly taken aback.
He thought that it would be harder than that to make Yente open up.

After recovering from his surprise, he asked, “What’s going on between the Cloud Race and the Bug Race?” “Nothing much.”
Yente shook her head.
“Then why did the Bug Race launch an offensive against the Cloud Race?” “That’s because the Cloud Race was once the
Greater Realms’ Ten Great Races.
Although it’s no longer the case now, the Cloud Race is still one of the leading races.
This meant that we’d become a stepping stone for other races.
As long as they can defeat us, they will also become a powerful race.
The Bug Race attacked us because a powerful figure had been birthed among them.
They are eager to secure a spot within the Greater Realms.” On this front, it seemed like Yente had little to conceal.
But as she spoke, she was also observing James.
When the Cloud Race was under attack and sent their messengers to call for help from other Races, none replied nor extended
aid.
Now that someone from the Dooms’ Race was here, they could not be up to anything good.
James could understand what Yente had said.
Although the Cloud Race had fallen, they were previously one of the Ten Great Races.
Confronting them was a shortcut to obtaining acknowledgment and glory.
“Who are the powerful figures among the Cloud Race?” James enquired again.
Taking a glance at James, she said, “There’s an elder who’s an Acmean.
But he sustained an injury from the battle against humans.
After he returned, he went into hiding to heal, but no one knows where.
Apart from him, there’s the Great Elder Wannabe Yiskah.

He is at the Quasi Acme Rank.
He’s already broken through the threshold of the Nine- Power Macrocosm Ancestral God Rank, but has yet to ascend into the
Acmean Rank.” Yente has little to hide concerning James’ question.
“After the Great Elder, we have our Sect Leader, who’s also at the Quasi Acme Rank.
There's still some disparity between the capacity of the Sect Leader and that of the Great Elder.
There's around twenty Quasi Acme Rankers among our race.” James was stupefied upon hearing this.
Seeing James’ distorted expression, Yente sighed as she said, “ Twenty or so figures who are Quasi Acme Rank doesn’t mean
anything if they have yet to step into the Acme Rank.
The Bug Race dared attack us because they now have a powerful figure who’s an Acmean.” As she spoke, she took a hard look
at James.
“Being part of the Doom Race, your people know clearly about our race’s capability.
Is there a need to send a disciple all the way here just to check us out?”
