The region James was in was not too far away from the Desolate Grand Canyon. Before he even arrived at the canyon, he could
already sense a powerful force sweeping toward him.
“Let’s go have a look.”
James was exhilarated when he saw the canyon. He came here not to search for treasures but for Soulblues. Once he obtained
the Soulblues, he would then be able to infiltrate the Doom Race. By then, he would have a legitimate identity that would allow
him to traverse freely throughout the Greater Realms, unlike his current self, where he would have to sneak around like a wanted
criminal.
“Alright.”
Leilani was curious to see what the Desolate Grand Canyon-a place considered to be one of the Ten Forbidden Areas of the
Greater Realms- looked like.
The two strode forward. As they were very near the Desolate Grand Canyon, danger could be lurking near the corner. So, they
did not proceed recklessly but instead walked in with caution.
Boom!
A few moments after they entered, an explosion occurred in the space before them. At that moment, the pitch-black sky was
illuminated by a glaring light. A wave of powerful force shredded through the air like a ripple, and everywhere it passed through
disintegrated into nothingness.
James and Leilani’s faces paled. They immediately tore open space and disappeared without a trace. In the next instant, they
were already outside the Desolate Galaxy. Only after the explosion subsided did they continue forward.
They returned to the place they were at.
“What was that just now?” James asked. At the same time, he used his Divine Sense and scouted the Desolate Grand Canyon.
However, there were too many unique formations and unknown regions in the canyon.
The Desolate Grand Canyon was the most dangerous place James had ever encountered. This was certainly much more
dangerous than the Ecclesiastical Restricted Zone, where even Nine-Power Macrocosm Ancestral Gods could still wander in and
leave the place in one piece.
However, the same could not be said about the Desolate Grand Canyon.
Leilani shook her head and said, “I have never been to the Desolate Grand Canyon. How would I know? We can only know more
by venturing deeper into the canyon. Perhaps a living coming into contact with a formation, hence the fluctuations.”
“Be careful,” James reminded her and continued forward.
In just a single step, he was already very far ahead. Leilani followed suit.
Soon, they arrived at the region where the explosion occurred. There were now many Spatial Black Holes here. Each of them
was of moderate size – about the size of Earth. Even so, there were many of them. In the surroundings were countless cracks.
The scene was rather horrifying.
“It’s a formation.”
James could tell something was amiss at a single glance. He said, ‘There’s a broken formation here that exploded. Only some
formation inscriptions remain.”
Leilani furrowed her eyebrows and said, ‘This place is merely the surface of Planet Desolation. Wouldn’t it be more terrifying if
we head deeper into the planet?”
“Of course.” James sighed. “Perhaps it is as you said. Only Caelum
Acmeans have the right to enter this place. This place must once be the battlefield of Caelum Acmeans in the distant past.”
