there were simply too many living beings and powerful figures that even Wotan, one of the top ten figures in the Chaos Ranking,
could only hold them back for ten minutes.
James was confident in his capabilities, but not arrogant enough to fight so many powerful figures in one go.
He left with lightning speed. He used the Space Path to leave and even erased the traces of the Path so that they could not
sense his location.
The Desolate Galaxy was massive. After James left, he reappeared somewhere far away. Once again, he entered a thick forest.
He sat on a huge tree branch in a lotus position to sense his physical power.
His physical power has indeed strengthened after immersing himself in the five-color pond. Eyebrows lowered, he mumbled
softly. This was so difficult. The energy of the five-color pond was comparable to that of the Fruit of Life, but his rank has only
improved by a little.
This fueled his determination. No matter how challenging it becomes, he would continue to cultivate, because he was the only
hope that humans have left. Whether or not humans could stand for themselves in the Greater Realms, whether or not he could
cooperate with Thea again, whether he could change the fate of humankind before the Greater Realms found out, all of this was
fully dependent on him.
‘Thea, where are you?” James stared at the starry sky. He felt helpless. In the universe where he was at, his cultivation base was
the highest, he was nearly invincible. But now that he was in the Greater Realms, he was far off from being a truly powerful
figure. His right to speak would be limited until he successfully became an Acmean.
James inhaled deeply. He had no time to think of these complex subjects. For now, the most urgent thing was to survive and
make it out of the Desolate Galaxy alive.
The number of powerful figures in the Galaxy was as many as the clouds in the sky. He has witnessed the astonishing greatness
of Wotan. Even if his rank has now risen, he still was not confident that he could defeat Wotan, let alone kill him.James was
injured from the battle, where he chose to forcefully resist the collective attack of a number of Quasi Acmeans. His body was
covered in an uncountable amount of injuries, and so were his insides.
He sat on the tree branch and continued to recover from those injuries.

He summoned the Life Path, allowing an immense amount of vitality to take over his injuries. At a speed visible to the naked eye,
the injuries gradually healed themselves. At the same time, he summoned the Chaos Power to suppress the energies that
invaded his system, chasing them out.
His condition improved. After around a hundred years, his body fully recovered.
He took a leap, reappearing in the sky. Stretching his joints, his body emanated frightening energies once again. He held his
fists, slamming them into the void.
Pure physical power materialized into a faint, white fist. This fist attacked the Desolate Galaxy’s formation, producing a loud
sound.
