The Almighty Dragon General

The Yaneiri King had a very good reason to do that.
Ze Ila was a prophet. She could sense major events before they happen. The lady was able to see the future.
“Was there anything else that you saw, Zella?” the Yaneiri King asked.
“Brother, I couldn’t see the future for our people. Our people must have been wiped out at some point in the future.
Moreover, your stubbornness most likely played a huge part in that happening.
“I also got the feeling that the creator of the Path of Heavenly Awakening was probably using our world to share some insights
with the humans from the future. Moreover, the creator has created this situation to make you realize that you should change
before it is too late.”
At that very moment, a beam of light shone down from the sky and into the main hall.
A short while later, a man could be seen emerging from the light. He got down on one knee.
“Master, a powerful and mysterious man appeared outside Yaneiri City just a while ago. He managed to destroy the formation
cast to protect the city and kill all of the people hiding inside.”
The Yaneiri King’s face darkened almost instantaneously.
The man gave off a threatening aura. “Who was it?”
Just then, Zella turned her eyes to the door.
There was a peculiar glaze over her bright eyes as she had a brief vision of the future.
She could see a man rushing toward them. She was not completely certain, but it almost seemed like the man was engulfed in
white flames and emitting a white glow. The man held a black sword as he appeared in their world.
“He’s here.”
The vision had ended. However, Zella was still staring in the same direction. She had just seen James’ first appearance in their
world.

“I was right. Our world has been projected into the realm. We are already a part of the illusion created as a test for the human
who’s come from the future.”
‘That’s impossible,” the Yaneiri King rebuked, “I’ve read about the secret art of Projection. Even if someone were using our world
to test and train future generations of cultivators through that method, they would only be using the past versions of us. Our
world couldn’t possibly have been projected to the realm instead, and we couldn’t possibly sense that!”
“Brother, we are different though. You and I have predestined fates. Also, I am a prophet. It’s no surprise we are able to detect
something like this.”
Zella continued, “Once the projection is over or when that human has passed the test, all of us will be able to leave this realm. By
the time this is all over, we’ll have memories of having met with the human challenger.”
After listening to Zella’s explanation, the Yaneiri King took a deep breath to calm himself.
“I have heard about the Path of Heavenly Awakening, and I know that certain challengers may activate the ultimate- level
difficulty of the realm. I wonder what kind of human cultivator was able to do that this time? What does he have to do in our world
to pass the trial?”
At the same time, James had arrived at the foot of Mount Yaneiri.
He was about to scan his surroundings when he saw a group of people materializing near the entrance leading to the top of
Mount Yaneiri.
The Yaneiri King, Zella, and several of the Yaneiri King’s disciples spotted James as well.
The king knitted his brow.
“That’s him? He’s so weak! This guy has only reached the late stage of Quasi Acme Rank.”
There was a hint of disappointment in the man’s eyes.
“Which of you is the Yaneiri King?” James looked at the group and asked.
“I...” The Yaneiri King felt a slight tug at his sleeve when he was about to reply. Then, he tactfully shut his mouth.

Zella took a few steps forward whilst keeping her gaze trained on James. Several fine lines of inscriptions that were almost
imperceptible glowed in her eyes.
She was trying to use her powers to find out more information about the man. However, it was to no avail.
“Young man, which period of time do you come from? What’s the condition that you have to fulfill to pass the trial?” Zella began.
James was taken by surprise upon hearing her questions.
“You... You’re aware of why I’m here?” James asked.
