Chapter 4478
The copper coffin was a deadly and indestructible weapon in itself. It took Xezal’s true form an epoch to finish making it.
Furthermore, Xezal was a powerful and talented powerhouse whose cultivation rank remained a mystery to others still.
As the copper coffin shot toward Wyot. The force of the movement destroyed the space along its path. Wyot was not intimidated
by the strength shown by the being inside the coffin. He lifted his sword and prepared to parry the coffin’s charge.
As the coffin reached him, Wyot channeled his powers into his sword and blasted the coffin with full force. At the same time, an
immense energy radiated from the copper coffin. To Wyot’s surprise, he found that he could not deflect or repel the coffin.
Both Wyot and the copper coffin were sent flying several hundred meters away from each other in opposite directions upon
impact.
Just then, Dolph ordered his men to attack the human powerhouses. As he had steadied the copper coffin, James could see the
Doom Race’s troops rushing toward Jacopo and the others with various weapons in their hands.
The copper coffin vanished from its original position and materialized before the army in the next instant. The Dooms saw the
coffin gleam with a bronze light.
Then, the coffin released a huge wave of energy in the direction of the Doom Race’s armies. The energy wave crashed over their
soldiers and eliminated almost everyone that had lower cultivation ranks. In a matter of seconds, the Dooms had lost a majority
of their military force.
Still, the Acmeans that came with Dolph remained as they suffered little to no injuries from James’ attack. These Acmeans
continued to advance toward the human cultivators.
Suddenly, the shadow-like figure conjured by James materialized before the Acmeans. It raised both arms and unleashed its
powers, shoving the 300 Acmeans backward almost instantaneously. That powerful strike was enough to deal severe damage to
the Acmeans and immobilize them instantly.
“Damn it!”
Wyot’s face was red with anger. As he tightened his grip over the sword handle, the blade of his sword seemed to quiver more
intensely.
James narrowed his eyes as he noticed the change in Wyot’s aura. He immediately used his powers to push and send all the
human powerhouses back into the perimeter of the human universe.
As soon as he had finished sending the last person to safety, James could sense a massive Sword Energy accompanied by a
threatening sound wave coming toward him. Wyot’s attack was so powerful that it destroyed the Chaos’ surroundings nearby as
it traveled toward its target.
At that point, the gray figure had formed a sword in its hand. It tried to counter the attack using the First Tone of the Chaos’ Nine
Voices, the same attack that Wyot had just used.
James might have only reached the Quasi Boundless Rank. However, the copper coffin had constantly absorbed powers from its
surroundings for the past 30,000 epochs. The accumulation of energy benefited James greatly. Although his cultivation rank did
not compare to that of Wyot’s, James nonetheless could wield a tremendous amount of power.
Boom!
A huge explosion could be heard as the two similar attacks made contact.
In a flash, numerous cracks started forming in the space around them. The cracks even began to spread toward the human
universe.
When they saw that, Thea quickly used her powers to stop the cracks from reaching and destroying their universe.
On the other hand, Youri’s and Hirah’s expressions hardened after witnessing the exchange between Wyot and the copper coffin.
Both sides were quite evenly matched.
“Is the person inside that coffin really James Caden?!” Youri said through gritted teeth.
“It’s highly possible.” Hirah continued, “I gave him a copy of the Chaos Sacred Art back when he impersonated Wyot.” Both men
knew who was being held inside the coffin as soon as they saw the figure unleash the First Tone of Chaos’ Nine Voices.
However, they could not fathom how he was brought back to life after having sacrificed himself 30,000 epochs ago.
