The Almighty Dragon General

Teresa’s explanation about the Sky Burial differed from what James had learned.
“What exactly is going on? So many powerhouses died during the first Sky Burial, but you call it the Chaos Heavenly Path’s
defense mechanism? How does this count as protecting the Greater Realms’ living beings?” asked James.
Teresa avoided the question and instead tried to change the topic. “Let’s discuss the Invincible Sect and Thea’s family first.”
James listened attentively.
Teresa explained, “Since ancient times, two Sky Burials have happened. The Greater Realms have existed for a long time, and
many powerhouses have risen. Many of them refused to participate in the battles of the Sky Burial and used various ways to
avoid the harm caused by the Sky Burial.
“The Invincible Sect and Thea’s family had survived the Sky Burial Age. They’ve lived in seclusion and never involved
themselves in the affairs of the Greater Realms. Very few people know about them. Reaching a higher cultivation rank and
achieving great strength was much more important to them.
“Recently, many powerhouses have entered the Caelum Acme Rank, and the Human Race’s luck has also improved. These are
signs that a Mega Sky Burial is about to happen. These powerhouses are panicking and are grasping at straws.”
James asked, “Isn’t survival possible if one enters the Chaos Rank? Apart from this, is there really no other way to get through
the Sky Burial?”
Teresa ignored his question and said, “You should continue cultivating at ease. If you can’t resolve the Mega Sky Burial,
everything will return to ashes. When the time comes, you’ll realize nothing in life is important.”
Teressa had a sorrowful expression.
During the first Sky Burial, many peerless powerhouses close to entering the Chaos Rank tried to resolve the Sky Burial but
failed.
It was almost impossible for them to get through the third Sky Burial.
Teresa had practically given up. Therefore, she did not bother explaining it in detail.
‘Where can I find Thea?” asked James.

Teresa replied, “You don’t have to look for her. It won’t be long until these hidden families and sects emerge. The Greater Realms
will go through a huge change.”
James’ question was unanswered.
“Thank you for enlightening me.”
James stood up, clasped his hands, and left.
Since Teresa was unwilling to share the details, James had no choice but to visit the Invincible Sect.
The Invincible Sect was also a hidden force so they might know about Thea’s family.
After James left, the middle-aged man appeared inside the hall.
“Ms. Teresa,” he called out respectfully and said, “Are you not going to tell him the truth? He’s going to find out eventually. The
Invincible Sect has already found him. He’s going to learn about everything after seeing them.”
Teresa said, “I don’t want to dampen his spirit with the truth.”
“Who do you think is most likely to enter the Chaos Rank?” asked the middle-aged man.
After a brief thought, Teresa replied, “There have been many powerhouses that had the potential to enter the Chaos Rank.
However, all of them perished in the Sky Burials.
There aren’t many that are capable of entering the Chaos Rank right now. I’d estimate about a dozen or so. Our future depends
on them. Hopefully, they enter the Chaos Rank before the arrival of the Mega Sky Burial.”
“I don’t understand why you’ve chosen Maxine. Her potential is average, and her cultivation base is weak. Why do you insist on
taking her as a disciple?”
“If you could understand, you would be in my position.”
