Xezal, the leader of the Seraphic Sect, was an exceptional powerhouse at the Transcendental Bliss Rank. She was one of the
strongest in Anceralos.
The Seraphic Sect was powerful. Now that Xayvion had entered the Seraphic Sect, it was difficult for James to kill him.
James felt troubled after learning more about Xezal.
Once Xayvion’s Obsidian Body was recovered, he would no longer need Xezal’s protection. By then, James’ chances of killing
him would be even slimmer.
James fell into thought. After a brief contemplation, he decided to stay in the Anceralos Era for a while longer. For now, he
wanted to find a place to concentrate on improving his cultivation.
He was determined to stay in seclusion until he was strong enough to kill Xayvion.
The first step to defeating Xayvion was to find a way to overcome his Obsidian Body. Without a countermeasure to the Obsidian
Body, it would be impossible to kill him.
However, James had no clue where he could go in Anceralos.
James asked around, gathering more information about the Anceralos Era.
Soon, he had a rough understanding of the era.

After acquiring more information, James learned humans dominated the current era. Although it was an era where many fought
for hegemony, the humans overpowered the rest.
The humans’ primitive inscriptions still existed in the Anceralos Era and were not lost yet. They were in the hands of a
Superorthodox, the Hagios Sect.
The Hagios Sect’s Leader was a top powerhouse of the Human Race and stood at the top of the power hierarchy. Like Xezal, he
was also a powerhouse at the Transcendental Bliss Rank.
“Are the humans’ primitive inscriptions of this era the same as the ones I learned from the Primal Mantra?”

After learning more about the humans of the current era, James wanted to visit the Hagios Sect to satisfy his curiosity. Ultimately,
he decided to enter the Hagios Sect and cultivate there until he reached the Quasi Bliss Rank.
Meanwhile, he would also have to study Obsidian Bodies and find a way to counter Xayvion. Only by neutralizing Xayvion’s
Obsidian Body would he have a chance to kill him.
After making a decision, James quickly departed to the universe where the Hagios Sect was located.
Anceralos was vast and boundless, consisting of countless regions and universes.
The Hagios Sect was located in a core region of Anceralos.
Soon, James arrived in a prosperous universe. He temporarily settled in a city near the Hagios Sect and waited for an
opportunity to join the sect.
However, the opportunity never arose even after waiting for a long time. The Hagios Sect were not looking to recruit disciples
anytime soon. Without a disciple recruitment conference, it would be tough for James to join the Hagios Sect.
The Hagios Sect was full of powerhouses. Even with his current strength, sneaking in would be hard.
“Have you heard about the strange things happening in the Halcyon Road recently?
“Yeah. I heard unknown creatures and powerful beings have appeared at the end of Halcyon Road. The Hagios Sect is
summoning powerhouses from all over Anceralos for a meeting to discuss an expedition to investigate the situation.”
James coincidentally overheard a conversation and learned crucial information.
‘The Halcyon Road?” James’ body trembled.
Many races went to war because of the Halcyon Road. From what he understood, the Halcyon Road was the only way to enter
the Transcendental Bliss Rank successfully. One would encounter accidents if one tried to reach the Transcendental Bliss Rank
outside Halcyon Road.
According to his era’s recorded history, many powerhouses at the Quasi Bliss Rank had entered the Halcyon Road. However,
they disappeared and never returned. Nobody knows whether these powerhouses were still alive or not.

“What’s at the end of the Halcyon Road?” James frowned. He planned to use the opportunity to enter the Hagios Sect and
venture into the Halcyon Road.
