James set up a formation on the Hagios Sect’s mountain gate and collected fees from outsiders who wished to enter.
Although the primitive inscriptions of one’s race were quite valuable, the powerhouses of the Anceralos Era were still willing to
exchange them for something of equal value.
Unlike in James’ original era, major races would not easily hand over their primitive inscriptions.
Xezal’s face became increasingly grim as more and more powerhouses entered the Hagios Sect.
With James guarding the mountain gate, Xayvion knew he could not enter the Human Race’s holy site. He gave up and said,
“Let’s head back.” “Head back?!!” Xezal’s face ashened. She had already handed over her race’s primitive inscriptions to James
and was unwilling to give up so easily.
James sat on the stone tablet and looked at the two of them. Suddenly, an idea popped into his mind. He smiled and said,
“Actually, there’s one way to enter the holy site, Xayvion.”
Xayvion looked at him curiously.
James elaborated, “I’ll let you pass if you can perform the Obsidian Body in front of me, and let me look at it.
It was the perfect opportunity to learn more about the Obsidian Body. The Obsidian Body Inscriptions were powerful and could
ignore all kinds of Supernatural Powers. One would be invincible after mastering them.
For James to counter the Obsidian Body, he must thoroughly understand it.
“Are you sure?” Xayvion looked at James doubtfully. After all, he had cheated Xezal out of her race’s primitive inscriptions.
“Of course,” James said earnestly, “This is the Hagios Sect, and many of our elders are watching. Moreover, so many
powerhouses from all over Anceralos are gathered here. I can’t possibly lie to you with so many witnesses.”
“Alright.” Xayvion accepted the deal without hesitation.
Xayvion activated his Obsidian Body.
James’ eyes were glued onto Xayvion. He watched as mysterious inscriptions emerged from Xayvion’s skin.
The inscriptions intertwined like meridians.

James watched carefully and used his Path Powers to record everything.
Xayvion had no idea what James’ intentions were. However, activating the Obsidian Body would not cause him any losses.
“Let me test it out.” James suddenly appeared in front of Xayvion Xayvion hurriedly backed away.
“What are you afraid of? With my current strength, I can’t possibly kill you.”
James rolled his eyes.
“Fine. Do it.” Xayvion was willing to risk it for a chance to enter the humans’ holy site.
James summoned a long sword and slashed out. A Sword Energy materialized and struck Xayvion’s body. At that moment, the
inscriptions on the surface of Xayvion’s body suddenly transformed.
Afterward, James attacked again. Each time his attack landed, the inscriptions would transform and block the attack.
James attacked about a hundred times consecutively. His attacks were potent but caused no harm to Xayvion.
During the process, James made sure he was recording everything.
After a long time, James finally put away his sword and said, “Go on.”
He waved his hand, allowing Xezal and Xayvion to pass through the mountain gate.
Then, James sat down on the stone tablet again.
He had finally seen the Obsidian Body Inscriptions. With his mastery of the Human Race’s primitive inscriptions, he could easily
study and master the Obsidian Body Inscriptions.
After the interaction, James continued to collect benefits from visitors.
Many powerhouses came to the Hagios Sect and obediently handed over some benefits to James to pass the mountain gate.
The day for the opening of the Hagios Sect’s holy site came in the blink of an eye.
